I must agree. There is no waitlist, so I didn't even bother waiting. I did my research, took my time hunting, and managed to get my Batman on the secondary at a decent price with a big chunk of warranty still intact.

Gf watch got my grail watch!! Didn’t realize that would make me so happy.
@vince.r
looking forward to your review of our 124270. congrats! 🎉

My wrist size is almost the same so I get the feeling of the size by looking at your video. I hope to get one of these one day also.

"I was given the middle finger by Rolex" lmao
@g43654
Wow, 3 years wait? My AD offered it to me 3 days after I first asked for it. No purchase history, no follow-up, no dressing up, nothing. I was genuinely interested in this watch, and perhaps that was all that was needed.
@deparoo
Congratulations ,man! 🎉

Dang! Maybe I just got super lucky with my Rolex purchases. I went to a few ADs from whom I have never purchased anything back in February to place my name on the “list.” And just last week I got the call and went to pick it up the next day. It was a DJ36 with the blue motif dial which is one of the sought-after dial colors in recent years. After picking up the DJ36 for my wife, I told the salesperson that I’m interested in adding the OP41 with celebration dial to my collection. He immediately said this special dial is very tough to get. Let’s see how long I have to wait this time, keeping my fingers crossed!

Looks great on you!

Congratulations! I was not going to comment but your experience with your AD resonated with me. My situation is the same, or probably worse. I have a substantial purchase history but ever since my SA left, it’s been crickets. I was assigned to another which his follow up game is non existing. It’s funny how these AD’s want purchase history, then you have it and they pretty much ignore you.

When faced with unhelpful Rolex AD's, reward the competition. I recently bought a Longines Spirit Zulu, and love it.

Congratulations!

Malaysian comrade here. Never register for any Rolex but wonder what is the experience. Has done previously for bb58 when it was hot but decided on 2nd hand also. Maybe in the future.

Congratulations

I waited 4 months for my 124270. I thought the Explorer would be the end of my collection needs. I loved the way the watch looked, and fell in love with everything about the 124270 ONLINE. After 7 months I sold the watch. It never felt quite right. Ir felt too small, the 14 tapered bracelet, although very well made, felt diminutive. I just could get used to the size of the watch. Unfortunately because I really wanted to like this watch.
@ChisKH
I felt you 😢 I checked back and realised I had bought also like 3 Tudor 1 Tank 1 Navi from the same AD but not even being entertained. Anyway, big congrats for getting the new watch! 🥳
@bsu2933
I waited 4 days for mine. Just really got on well with the assistant manger. Other AD’s said up to a years wait…
@lifewalker808
Gray market is the way to go. Especially for people only getting 1 rolex or 2.
