Grated Zucchini Fritters with a delectable sour cream-based sauce. Paired with a creamy sauce infused with garlic, dill, and cucumber, they make for a delightful appetizer or light meal. Let's dive into the recipe and savor the flavors!
To prepare this dish, you will need:
Zucchini - 13oz (370g) or 2 pieces
Egg - 1
Flour - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1/3 teaspoon
Oil - 0,7 fl oz (20ml)
For the sauce:
Sour cream - 4 tablespoons
Garlic - 1 clove
Dill - a few sprigs
Cucumber - 1
Salt - 1/3 teaspoon
Grate the zucchini using a coarse grater. If the zucchini are young, there's no need to peel them. Place the grated zucchini in a sieve, add salt, and mix to help release the juice faster. Press the zucchini using a spoon to remove excess liquid. Add about 1 tablespoon of flour; if the zucchini are too juicy, you can add more flour. The consistency should be as shown in the video. Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Grease the bottom of the pan with oil. Fry on both sides until golden brown.
The sauce is made with sour cream, but you can also use yogurt. Crush one clove of garlic, chop parsley, peel and grate the cucumber using a coarse grater. Add all the ingredients to the sour cream, add salt, and mix well. Enjoy your meal!
