Ronaldinho had Henrik Larsson posters on his bedroom wall, true story. When he first met Henrik at Barcelona he called him "Mi idolo" My idol and he was being serious. That is how good Henrik Larsson was. Edit: Celtic FC is 136 years old today.

Larsson was one of those wonderful diamonds in the rough, My cousin who is a huge Rangers fan to this day always says he was the best player to grace the Scottish league which tbh. is a HUGE compliment considering the rivalry.

Supernatural powers! Incredibly gifted player; King Henrik, King of kings without doubt. Once saw him float on mid air for ages to header a ball … goal, of course. At a game, a massive roar went up, someone confused next to us asked what happened … “Henrik stood up off the bench!” Came on after a horrific injury, got clattered and you could have heard a pin drop amongst 60,000 supporters until we knew he was okay. Legend! Supernatural!

Had the privilege to watch celtic play since the mid 80s in the jungle on someone's shoulders,with a macaroon in my hand ,watching the old school players ,but when I got a bit older ,then I seen henrik larsson, celtic is a special club ,there will be more greats,hail hail ma bhoys,x

he is a top class player up there with christiano ronaldo and messi, he just wasnt so much of a dribbler as those 2 but he was a finisher who made it look so effortless, his intelligence and ball control were his biggest assetts

His positional sense of knowing were the ball was going to be 15 seconds before the ball knew and his finishing was better than anyone I'd ever seen .

Being a season ticket holder at Celtic I was blessed to watch this man up close for years, so good, so clever , great touch, great passer, could put the boot in if he had too, a great header even tho he’s not the tallest. Honestly he’s one of the best ever imo. One interesting point he nearly became a handball player instead of football

Since Larsson played most of his career in scotland, some critics may argue he would not have been sucessful in more competitive leagues. Then again you could also argue that, going to Celtic and elevate the club to compete in the highest level is something that would be a tough test for any world class player. Im not sure that Messi, Ronaldo, and so on... Could have gone to celtic and do what Larsson did...

He was only good when Rangers were bad although was a good striker I think Celtic fans over rate him because he was scoring goals and helping Celtic win titles at the end of a very, very long period of Rangers dominance.I remember his first season or 2 he was nothing special because Rangers we’re destroying them, Rangers have had better players overall Prime Gazza, Laudrup, de boar, Arteta, Albertz, Mols, Numan, van Bronkhurst, the list goes on for days.Tbf he helped Celtic to a European final, but Rangers have been to the last and most recent 2 Manchester and Seville.And Celtic have been pretty useless in Europe for years. Rangers are undoubtedly the biggest club in Scotland though and I think that comes through when they play in Europe. Everything I’ve listed is just straight facts.And I live in Scotland so I know who’s the biggest on the east side of Scotland there’s hardly any Celtic fans, but Rangers fans are everywhere like rats, and I work in the US and there’s even Rangers fans out there too but don’t know much about Celtic. Although I think Celtic have some fans in oriental Asia because they sign players from there,but to keep it real any club would be proud to have striker like Larson
