I think the best representation of how fast space marines are is the psyker fight in the Astartes animation. Seeing them sprint at the psyker felt like watching a train speeding towards a car stuck on the tracks.

The difference between astartes and primarch is that while astartes have some natural psychic abilities, such as connection to their primarch and ability to read memories from eating enemies (science behind it make no sense otherwise.), but primarchs basically use warp passively. No way Angron could have stopped a titan stomp otherwise.

For all i hear about them having acid spit capabilities, i have never heard of them using it.

I think one thing played down here is reaction speed. It has been stated in multiple books about how a space marine can react down to the nanosecond in situations, the one coming to mind is during I believe the book Know no Fear an ultramarine was going to shake hands with another space marine and using his mind going through multiple theoreticals of the situation in nanoseconds. If you were wondering a nanosecond is about the same as light speed. This could also dictate why they can sometimes move out of lasgun fire at the last second because lasers move at light speed. Now if you saying well why can’t they run at light speed then? Well your right on that they can’t! A similar situation is if someone threw a baseball going 90mph (or about 144 kph) at you, you could dodge it pretty easily if you were ready for it. Hell mythbusters I believe did an episode where it could be possible to dodge bullets at certain ranges but again it doesn’t mean humans are bullet speed. So a Space marine could likely have a percentage of light speed level of reaction.

Cawl should "borrow" railgun tech from the Tau and repurpose it for use by the Astartes. Imagine a bolt rifle firing hypervelocity projectiles at impossible speed! 😁

Honestly depends. If its the likes of tigurius or cunto shitcarius, well, they can bend time and reality to their will and have mountains of plot armor attached to them. And then there are space marines getting killed by primitive tribesmen with stone age Spears ....

In the heresy series, when a space marine was recovering from their wounds (it might have been Garro?) They were sprinting up and down a hall with several hundred kilos on a barbell. This was a remedial physio workout and they lamented that they felt weak. I think we got to read it from a remembrancer's perspective

I'd like another video on how tyranids adapt their units after gaining the genetics of unique lifeforms. Like did they start spitting anything special out when they nommed on the squats, or the Tau. what would happen if they were able to consume a primarch or a genuine krork. Or maybe just go into detail about how the Nids tend to adapt to fight each faction. Like we know they have an entire hive fleet for chaos that specializes in long range weapons. But how does it handle Orks vs say Tau vs say Necrons etc...

The teams medic beeing absolutely baffeled on how the marine was alive when he could look into his lungs and struggeled to keep both halves alive until giving them over to an Deathwatch Medic.

The Space Marines are very tough hombres and they're equipped with the state of the art weapons blessed by the power of the Man-Emperor of Mankind. There is nothing they can't handle.

The DoD has played with captive bolt rounds. Essentially it is a conventionally round with a secondary gyro stabilized rocket motor to maintain velocity down range. Kraken rounds are very much like real life block 211 over penetrators.

Space Marine power scaling can get pretty ridiculous one time I saw on vs battle wiki they had a fight between Sigismund from Warhammer 40K Vegeta when he first appeared in dragon Ball z and they somehow concluded that Sigismund would win which goes to show how ridiculous Warhammer 40K power scaling can get depending on how you interpret the feats.

It seems to me that with all the durability described, space marines die a bit easy sometimes. Dudes with all that stuff getting one shot all the time seems “interesting”. Wouldn’t there be a lot more wounded marines or the coma thing?

But then again it depend on who wrote the book. In Gav Thorpe's books the Dark Angels often took casualties fighting mortal combatants, but other writer would make them basically impervious against mere mortals without immense numbers.

You should do a Versus series of 40K Universe against various other Anime/fictional Characters.

Space marines get access to alot of other bonkers weapons not mentioned, Grav weapons, which forces the target's gravitational mass upon itself. Volkite weapons that fire focused beams of energy that can superheat the target's body, causing it to either immolate, melt, or explode. Lascannons that can punch holes through ceramite plated tanks at long distances. And assualt cannons, that fire standard bolt rounds at shockingly high rates of fire, to the point where, despite rotational barrel cooling, the gun barrels have be replaced after every battle due to them melting from use.

If you have my luck on the table top; my Space Marines can't fight their way out of a wet paper bag ..
