Out of a possible 265 work days in a given year, congress is "in session" 145 of those days! They spend an average of 5.7 hours in session each day. So, their base salary is $174,000 a year, that's $210.65 PER HOUR, that were paying these p.o.s.! Just to put things in further perspective, if it were you or I in congress, how many days would we want to be half way, or all the way on the other side of the country? away from our regular job (lol yeah right, they're the laziest sob's on planet Earth, they dont have a 2nd job, even the "doctors") family, favorite corner bar, coke dealer, favorite hooker & flea bag motel to meet said hooker? Especially when there's no boss to tell at you when you dont show up or show up late. Judges at the city and circuit court are also infamous for working less than the bare minimum hours, even canceling entire weeks at a moment's notice to go on a trip, or to just play golf one or two days a week and sit at home watching tv the rest of the days, while we foot the bill!
