I like how this guy keeps talking about the complexities of people trying to cross the border. What he keeps leaving out is the fact that they are trying to cross the border "illegally."

It's not a complex issue. We have immigration laws and this administration is defying every one of them. The primary purpose of the federal government is to defend our borders.

What no one is talking about is that Latin America is removing the worst of humanity from their nations and sending them North. President Maduro of Venizuela is a prime example More over when the“illegals” find work here and start to make money most of the dollars are sent back to their countries of origin to help their families, this is bad for the United States economy and very good for nations like Mexico ect . The dollar needs to circulate here in America to support our local bussinesses and not Businesses over seas.

I'm not too upset about the border issue. What I am upset about is the fact that 3 years ago during an eviction moratorium (COVID), I got COVID and had to take time off from work, ending up laid off. I feel two months behind on rent and even though there was a moratorium on eviction, I was evicted shortly after. I was told the city ran out of funds to help me pay rent or seek alternative housing. The city, who at this time had MILLIONS in state and government funding, refused to help me. Now all of the sudden they have money for illegal immigrants. I am a veteran. I am not saying that matters more than anyone else, but the fact that I put my life on the line for many years thinking my government and state would have my back when I ended my service. In the years since, I have realized my sacrifice was for nothing. I don't care if they help migrants. I DO care when they refuse to help those born here and gave everything. They keep saying they don't have the funding to help VETERANS, yet BILLIONS are spent on foreign aid, MILLIONS on ILLEGAL immigrants. I am tired of the lies. They DO in fact have the funding. They just choose to fund what they think will make headlines. If you want to LEGALLY enter the US, good. Do it ILLEGALLY, you are taking money away from those already suffering on the streets, and I think you should be banned for life from this country.

The thing about feeling bad for these people is if the shoe was on the other foot what country would be putting strain on their own citizens to reward us for illegally entering their country…? Just name me ☝🏾

actual asylum seekers would seek that aylum in the first 'safe' country they pass through. not go through a dozen countries to a specific one. they could also apply at a us embasy. anybody that is not mexican or canadian passing the border illegally should therefor immediately be flown back to the country they came from or a 'safe' country next to it. if anybody is not saying what their country of origin is they should be sent to whatever countryt the borer agents think they are from.

I have so much compassion for people who are trying to escape a dangerous country and find a better life for them and their family. There is a legal process to entering the United States legally but unfortunately it is a crime to cross the border illegally. Just like if you go in the store and steal some food and say the reason why you stole it is because you were hungry it's not going to void the crime and when a crime is committed law enforcement gets involved.

Agree with your empathy here. It is the same in Europe, as you know. The southern hemisphere is overunning the northern for mutliple reasons, economic and otherwise. And will they ever learn to speak ENGLISH. In the Netherlands we have a lot from TURKEY that came over back in the 70’. And the Netherlands gives every month if you have kids, kinder money. So one men, claims his wife in TURKEY an his sister and brother all there kids. And they all get that money.
