I took my drone to have a look at the Square Gardens development and the Hulme Arch.
Square Gardens is taking shape where Medlock Street meets the Mancunian Way. It's a 4 block development with one tall skyscraper of 45 floors, and 3 smaller stepped buildings. The highest point among the other blocks will be 25 storeys.
I got some shots of the Hulme Arch while I was down there!

Thanks for the update John🙂👍: As a collective the Square Gardens are quite aesthetic. The government has been trying to move occupations out of Whitehall and been looking for sites. Found some at Albert Bridge House and the Soapworks but gave up? Having some built on purpose. They're the green building next to your Acer tower, Square Gardens. Other projects on your watch list? 👀 Domis doing ground work at-🔹 Vision - Whitworth Street West. 🔹Fusion's Deansgate South Student Tower south of Deansgate Bridge. 🔹Their Obsidian on Trinity Way, Salford, has just been given the green light. Another to keep your eye on is One Cathedral Square,Mcr. Already given planning permission on the site of the Renaissance Hotel.

I do like the stepped design of the three non-high-rise bits of Square Gardens.. certainly does give the development a different feel to the straight vertical builds of (almost) everything else! I'll certainly be keeping my drone's eye on the other geography you mention! It's a list that keep giving! 😃

I struggled to get my bearings and it took me a while to realise where this was! 😅 Maybe that’s a sign that there’s too many buildings popping up in Manchester! PS - Great editing!

@@justmydrone: I was just looking for such views last week! Good work. I guess such panoramas will become more difficult as the buildings push 700+ ft and all across the centre.
