Thank you!! I love the editing as much as the flying. Sometimes you just need to go out and have some fun in a big open space! Love flying the drone in the countryside with no obstacles 🙂

*Nice shooting angles of the two reservoirs. No obstacles relieves the stress of flying. I've been flying 7 years and still get the jitters the first few moments.👍*

At the end of the day.. it's just my hobby... I'm not chasing thousands of views on KZfaq! It's my escape for my creative skills which my job doesn't give me! I LOVE flying my drone out in the countryside, it's where you can have the most fun and where you don't need to be quite so mindful of bricks and concrete and other people! Definitely less stressful haha!! But also firm jitters flying over water 🙂 Thank you for your continued support and generous comments my friend x x

Took my drone to Salford Quays and didn’t dare take off, bloody thing would have ended up in Eccles. Bit envious as you’ve got some amazing cityscapes to film in Manchester. Nice video btw and smart editing. 👏🏻👏🏻Subbed back 👍🏻🙂

Thanks for the update John🙂👍: As a collective the Square Gardens are quite aesthetic. The government has been trying to move occupations out of Whitehall and been looking for sites. Found some at Albert Bridge House and the Soapworks but gave up? Having some built on purpose. They're the green building next to your Acer tower, Square Gardens. Other projects on your watch list? 👀 Domis doing ground work at-🔹 Vision - Whitworth Street West. 🔹Fusion's Deansgate South Student Tower south of Deansgate Bridge. 🔹Their Obsidian on Trinity Way, Salford, has just been given the green light. Another to keep your eye on is One Cathedral Square,Mcr. Already given planning permission on the site of the Renaissance Hotel.

I do like the stepped design of the three non-high-rise bits of Square Gardens.. certainly does give the development a different feel to the straight vertical builds of (almost) everything else! I'll certainly be keeping my drone's eye on the other geography you mention! It's a list that keep giving! 😃

@@justmydrone30 out of 55! Beyond is Middlewood Locks. Jury is still out over Middlewood Locks and Mayfield, have they rethought? Like Salboy? Renaker makes residences not offices. Why? Market conditions. Salboy has ditched it's Viadux2 15 storey office structure for a possible 76 storey residential structure.

Welcome back & thank you for the update! 🙂👍👏 The Trinity Towers and St. Michael's Tower will be landmarks. 👀 Thank you for the clear footage. 😁 The driver, as the developers admit, are students, graduates and non-graduates. They're the ones with money and the prices are set deliberately at a graduate's salary. Mcr is the student city par excellence in Europe. Highest campus. It has a high retention rate. Testament to the amount of jobs available. Mcr is bucking the national trend for construction mainly down to students. 51% of students stay in Mcr. About 2/3rds in the city centre. The kicker is, 62% of the graduates did NOT graduate in Mcr but are attracted to it like iron filings to a magnet 🧲 because of the buzz, the arts, bars, two world class football teams and it's half the cost of London. The bubble ain't going to burst anytime soon. 🫧 However the developers have to be fleet of foot. Covid19 & Working From Home changed the paradigm. Offices pushed to the rear and residences in the spotlight. Middlewood Locks in your film is very interesting. Low rise residences and offices were planned for the area around The Nook. Now? Towers are fashionable and profitable, for residents. As it's next to the business districts of St. John's, New Bailey and Spinningfields it could be very valuable. Lots of projects starting or have started 👷🚧 including Echo Street/Vimto Park, Fairfax Towers, etc. Much obliged for you recording the changing scene. ✊

@@justmydrone Thanks, you are welcome. Mcr is practically unique, even out-surpassing London in some respects. Towers constantly changing the skyline. Both Renaker and Salboy say they can't meet the demand. It's driven chiefly by students.

John Merry Christmas, Christmastide and a Prosperous New Year. Did you hear about Viadux Phase 2? The 5 storey office block plan is gone, replaced by two towers of 76 storeys and 23 storeys respectively, the latter affordable homes, subject to planning permission. The Grade 2 but disused Union Bank, planned to be the first net zero hotel in UK with a tower and sloping roof, iin Picc. Remember the One Heritage residential tower planned for Salford, 55 storeys with a sloping roof? That too looks a step nearer.
