When I started racing MTB back in 1992, the mountain bike was just a do-it-all off-road machine. Do we get back to those days?
Let me know, what's your opinion on this bike and what would be the strongest competition for it in 2019 - I'll try to make a comparison test.

Id love a direct comparrison between the One-Twenty(or rather a wide selection of "does it all" bikes) and Scott's Genius. Different manufacturers have different approaches to the same problem, and id really like to know how they fare against each other. For the moment im really pleased with the "Twin Lock" solution(i cant really imagine riding a full squish without it like EVER again), on the other hand, ive never had the chance to test a solution that revolves around "advanced" rear kinematics, instead of contraptions.

Merida Big Trail 500 looks like a cool trail hardtail to test! Not a race bike, but 27.5+ hardtails are becoming very popular

I recently bought a 2019 Devinci Django 27.5. I'm loving it, but I when I was doing my research I found a huge void when it came to Django reviews and the ones I did find were of the 29er. I think both fit right into that "1 bike to do it all" category. It's worth a look if you are able to get your hands on one in your part of the world.

Hi can you help me with gears ? They won't go to largest gear even though it has been adjusted to go to get to it and at times when on smallest cog when I click shifter it doesn't move to second smallest cog and at times the gears slip under tension .

I would like to see a review/comparison between aluminium bike and carbon bike. Especially Cannondale Scalpel-si 5 and Scalpel-si 4. The are pretty much the same bike with different frame material. Or maybe have the same wheels when testing.

I like it but i have a 29 er yt capra pro and she is a beast to climb and downhill too. So i dont know why we need this trail bike category i think the 29 er enduro bikes the ultimate mtb. Anyway the video is good cheers.

@@MS-mh7xf With big knobby tires, even if pressure is so high, you can ride it that fast on the streight road i am talking about you pressing the ppedals with your max power, and when you stop pedaling bicycle slows down so fast, with skinny tires you can ride fast with full sus bike but make sure you have them on max stiffnes, or buy full rigid bicycle put skinny tires like 26x1,5 or 1,75 maybe 27.5 i am not sure how big you are, but that will make you much faster with lower effort and it will remain its speed much longer when you stop pedaling. but axels gotta be perfectly tightened not too tight no too lose, and are possition makes difference too, but all that is not much big of a deal. if you are getting into the sport make sure you become mechanic yourself, changing grease changing pads, ball bearings and other stuff so easy but it saves you alot of money. GL on the road.
