L' md80 l'ho pilotato per anni come 1 ufficiale e poi come conandante era un magnifico aereo!!!!

Comandante , perchè non fai un corso di pilotaggio del MD80 , a noi poveri SIMMER DI X-Plane 11-12 ??...Trovi su you tube , corsi sui più moderni , ma il favoloso MD , è dimenticato. X-Plane ha il ROTATE MD 80-82-88 Che sono fantastici...Facci un pensiero ...Un abbraccio.

Bel filmato, sembrerebbe che i piloti fossero poco professionali ma non per gli addetti ai lavori, questi sono piloti a cui piace volare molto preparati e con tanti anni di esperienza alle spalle e nonostante tutte le procedure (checklists) da rispettare hanno avuto anche il tempo di farsi due risate con i loro commenti ,molta serenità in cabina di pilotaggio non vuol dire poca serietà. Un semplice volo di routine che hanno voluto condividere con noi ,del resto capita anche a noi automobilisti mentre guidiamo di commentare ed essere gioiosi ma all'improvviso se sottoposti ad una situazione di stress , come una brusca frenata oppure una deviazione improvvisa per evitare un incidente il nostro umore può cambiare improvvisamente così accade anche ai piloti degli aerei di linea. Se siete stati attenti al filmato vi è stata una situazione di tensione, quando i piloti hanno lasciato Radar Controllo di Marsiglia e dovevano contattare Roma Radar , a quel punto hanno avuto un'attimo di difficoltà perché non riuscivano a farsi ascoltare ed il comandante ha anche detto continuiamo cosi tanto erano ancora all'interno dello spazio aereo francese e non avevano ancora raggiunto il punto CORSI. Complimenti ancora ai due piloti

Giovannino, not a new Freudian theory, just up here (Scotland) chewing gum is seens as a lack of confidence. Anyway we have enough problems just now with those English so and so`s that still want to rule us. No disrespect intended to Italy or close neighbours. I have close ties with Italy ( Genoa), deal with them for business and in fact distribute the Companies Italian made goods in UK (sole distributor for 24 years) Everol, check them out. Stan

Not the best of videos but the thing of most concern, the junior first officer with all that gum chewing, shows a lack of confidence

I see what you mean, but those are Italians, if they were allowed, they would hang their balls out of the window. I've watched this vid because I've flown on this route many times with Meridiana and I absolutely trust them, had the worst flight ever with them due to weather and I arrived safe and sound.

How can you ask what my comment means and call it idiotic in the first place? It is up to you to explain what you mean by idiotic, which you can't because you don't know what my comment means...got it? The point is that someone is recording this and that in a lot of cultures chewing a gum at work is regarded as unprofessional, it gives the impression that someone is taking things very easy and wants to look cool in the first place instead of being concentrated on what matters. But again, that's the least I would be worried about when flying, he might just choke on it. My comment up there ultimately is fair, let Italian pilots be as cool as they want as long as they safely get you from A to B, which Meridiana has done as long as it existed, I don't have to go read aviation history to get that, I've flown with Meridiana many times.
