This has to be the best Optimus prime figure I’ve seen in ages. Really good painting and sculpting, lots of care put into the transformation, and it looks really good in general.

Has anyone else noticed how the MPM Optimus shares some engineering with ROTF Leader Optimus?

PHEW, that was a chore and a half to do. I think this might now be my most complex TF. Thanks for all these JTIs, I'm sure I'm not even close to the only one for whom these instructionals have been life savers.

Be extra cautious with the smoke stack hinges. They break easily.

I just got mine and transformed him with the help of your jti absolute work of art such a awesome figure and transformation and he is so heavy there is also much diecast in him one of my best and favorite figures

I have to say this to those who have yet to collect this piece. The camera does nothing for it. It looks nice on camera, don't get me wrong. However. You can not see exactly how incredibly beautiful this figure is withoit seeing it with your own eyes. This figure is by far the best MovieVerse Transformable figure. In either mode he is just breathtaking. Has/Tak, BmB, and whoever else made an effort to this Optimus Prime from Screen to figure pales in comparison. Wei-jiang have without question outdone themselves. I absolutely love this figure. And now.....l can not wait to see if they will stay on this path with their OS version of MpM IRONHIDE.

The feet is actually close to the transformation like the 2009 leader class figure

holy 24min to transform it. when mine arrives it will just stay robot, theres to many parts that looks like it would break if i touch it too much

This guy will be displayed in the same way that I display Unique Toys Challenger: with a cloth under his feet so the shelf doesn’t damage his chrome grill.

The wheel transformation is soooooo satisfying. for me this is my original prime not the mpm-04.

Him & mpm megs r around the same height. They should honestly make this optimus the same size as (wei jiang COMMANDER)

Honestly the bit that sold it for me was the fact that even the headlights were accurately positioned. No faux headlights. Just put it on a hinge extension and bring it all the way to the front.

Excellent review, I really love that figure but I've been looking for it and I can't find it. You who are more experienced in this issue of transformers figures do you have any information or news if they re-create and distribute that figure? or if you know someone who may have it to buy it?

Any recommendations for repairing and reattaching the fender assembly for the rear drive tires? Mine detached from the bolt on the very first transformation.

This figure is a bit too tall and the mpm figure is a tiny bit too small in my opinion. I would love an under-scaled version of this figure. Like between the size of this figure and the mpm Optimus prime in robot mode. Like the same exact size as the unique toys Optimus prime in robot mode. Not vehicle mode, but robot mode. In vehicle mode he should be the same size as the mpm Optimus prime. He would fit so well with all of the figures.

This figure has a terribly designed transformation. MPM4 has a nicely complex but intuitive and fun transformation, while this guy hits us with tons of tiny fragile hinges and flimsy pieces that have to flex around each other and bullshit. The gas tank guns alone are more complex than some deluxe figures! I hate them and if I ever transform this thing again I'm leaving them off. Sooooo much effort for a TINY bit of added accuracy. Thanks for the video though, Emgo!

yeah never transforming this dude again. worst qc figure, matter of fact worst third party toy I've ever bought.
