First off, holy crap this channel seems awesome. Super relaxed. Next, I just bought a PK7 and they also updated the black one to say "with meridian" too. No XBOOM logo on the woofer though.

I've had the white one for a few months now and it's easily my favorite portable speaker. With an EQ app, this thing really shines and the clarity is a thing of beauty. Plenty of bass too!

Good lookin' out for the update. I didn't even realize that LG had updated the firmware on these. I did update one of my PK5's and it does go a bit louder, but the bass seems to be neutered a bit. Give and take I guess, but people should know this before updating.

So, as it turns out Apple let me down on an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Luckily I had an Android device to perform the update! Thank you for the good gouge on the update helping with more oomph.

I feel that after firmware update the lights change, with the default version the lights were synchronized with the music, after that I think that I loose that , do you have any information of this issue?

Damm bro the batteries on my black PK7 died and stopped charging after 2 years of use and the replacement batteries are almost as much as a new speaker. I am so bummed.

The apps are available on iphones but i think those apps only work with androids so i can get the latest firmware

Hey New Stuff TV!! Debating between the PK7 and PN7 but I can't find any comparison data to go by. Which do you suggest between the two as far as audio quality, bass definition and volume are concerned?

For more bass, go with the PK7. For a bigger soundstage and clarity, go for the PN7. They're both pretty much the same as far as loudness.

Today I installed 2.nd update for this speaker. Latest version is ..200219A MAIN: 20200217.0434M. I love this speaker, so balanced sound... I prefer listening with Clear vocal and Enhanced bass on but with no Sound Boost. For indoor is TOP.

Update only for pk7?? Perhaps buying a pk5 for the deal.. close to 70$ but the handles do make it slightly bigger than necessary..

@@NewStuffTV1 thanks for letting me know. I might still get one.. although I did order a tronsmart t6 recently. Love it's sportsbottle form factor and that volume ring. Had a tough time choosing..but the lightning deal made me give it a go. It's probably better than anything I could get in my neighborhood for 35€. If i dislike it.. I'll get something A-brand. And that pk5 cost only around 55euro here.

With no tweeters on xb41, doubtfully. oluvs channel mentioned a lot of times that even the sony srs xb40 is superior to xb41 and that was beacause the sony xb41 is a complete dissaster of speaker. I´m a fan of a lot of sony products (PSP, walkman, PS2, sonys srs x33,x22 series on 2014) but that is a one bad.
