There is something very fun with this aircraft, watching the needles and numbers spin during startup and the howl during first stage flaps will never get old

And then they say the Germans don’t have any humor…..you proof the opposite.😂 don’t we dare to call Umberto for gsx failures….its always something we do wrong, not gsx. Thanks for your videos. Really enjoy them, i fly about 7 different types and learn something from your videos since you tend to fly the types I also use. The 146 is great indeed.

When you click the GSX icon in the toolbar you disable the GSX (at leats I call it that way) ;). Try using shortcut (ctrl+shft+f12) to show the menu, for me using that method works pretty nice.

It is a great quirky aeroplane but longer flights are required for a full English breakfast (I can smell the bacon). Thanks for another enjoyable flight in one of the best simulated airliners (yes there are others but I have a soft spot for this one).

When GSX shows the "Select Parking" menu instead of the "Services" menu, which is what happened during Pushback, is because it thinks you outside the parking spot. This usually indicates either a scenery conflict or a problem with the airport profile. iniBuilds KLAX comes with a GSX profile in a folder named "GSX Profile" inside its package, but it hasn't been used OR there was another profile for KLAX installed, so GSX loaded that one. It's easy to tell the GSX profile for iniBuilds KLAS wasn't used because: - There was no VGDS. The GSX profile that comes with iniBuilds KLAX comes with VGDS. - The Pushback tug started behind a column, while in the profile that comes with the airport, its starting position is better suited to the parking spot. - The rear staircase is visible, while in the profile that comes with the airport is disabled (as they usually are in the USA). I also downloaded another GSX profile for iniBuilds KLAX from flightsim.to, and it also came with a VGDS on Gate 83. While it's true that, thanks to the usage of Navdata API, GSX can work with Marketplace airports because it doesn't need to read the airport .BGL, precisely BECAUSE it doesn't read the airport .BGL anymore, it can't automatically associate a profile with a specific version of the airport, like it did when it used to read .BGL in MSFS or it still does in FSX/P3D. This means it's up to the user to be sure the correct profile for the installed airport is used, and there's only one profile for any given airport in the GSX profiles folder, and failing to that, will cause lots of issues when GSX not detecting you are inside a parking spot, so it shows the parking selection menu instead.

First the 737 on XBox gets efb plus the whole request perf/desc winds etc working… and now my second fav plane gets full overhaul too! What a great couple of weeks this will be!Just wish the out of control click spots like on standard pressure would go away (edit on the 737 I meant)

I may be wrong but i think its quite ok to start 2 engines together... at least for the a380 ^^

I couldn't find anything the likes in the 146 manuals. On some types such as the A380, A340, B777 (PW and RR engines only!) or 787 you can start two engines at the same time indeed.

Hey I don't own nor fly in the sim so idk if there are any good sceneries for south america but would you consider flying some Colombian routes? For example SKRG (Medellin) to SKSM (Santa Marta) would include beautiful landscapes and is done on the daily in A320s. I don't think there's much VATSIM coverage but it would be really cool to see you fly in more obscure parts of the world!

btw: for approaching level off I typically use the sync button. Shortly before reaching 1000ft to go I switch to V/S, activate Sync, push down the Nose to archive 1000ft/min and deactivate sync again. Thats a very unique way to interact with the AP

Which is more fun to fly, this v2 or the pmdg 737-600?

Not sure if the question was targeted towards just him, but in my opinion it really depends what you are looking for. Recreating current realistic ops in terms of system handling is probably better in the 737-600, even though that is also almost not flown nowadays anymore. In terms of workload however, I personally enjoy the 146 more. Given the old nature of the aircraft much more manual supervision and intervention is required during the flight, it's not just switching the autopilot on after takeoff and letting lnav/vnav do it's thing while you monitor. Especially on short hops while conventionally navigating you will be constantly doing something for the duration of basically the entire flight.

Really depends on what you want from your plane. If you prefer and old-school type with analogue gauges go for the 146, if you prefer a "modern" (well... 30 years old by now) plane, then the 737 is for you.

Sorry for the late reply! Thank you both for you replies. :) I want them both but I bought the 737-600 first (and it was awesome, even better than the 737 I use to fly in FSX/P3D back in the day) and I hope to get the 146 next month. Woohoo! Thanks!

Too many adds on replays of your streams. Annoying! Getting one every 5 minutes. I think you can reduce to 30 minute intervals

I'd suggest to get KZfaq Premium to get rid of adds completly. Costs only a few bucks per month and makes the entire experience a lot nicer!
