Power Mode has nothing to do with Apps staying active in the background so they can be started quicker, it’s just all about the start of the console itself, so with instant on it starts much quicker, that’s it...

I turned on energy saving mode and then whenever I was downloading an update and my xbox automatically turned off after 2 hours the download would stop because the xbox would full shut down instead of just powering off

I may be late to the post here, but just to point the reference. CloudFlare DNS (1.1.1.1/1.0.0.1) is a Cloud Based DNS, which has video coverage by Linus Tech. At last check it is the only Cloud Based DNS service. They also do not keep your connection information past 24hrs. Android users can APP this on their phone and get near VPN level privacy.

Hi mate what a good video, done these configurations now and the numbers improved. Original values: download were 230.97Mbps latency 35ms after configurations download increased by 10 so now is 240.91Mbps and latency decreased by 3 so now is 32ms. U r a legend. Wtf, this really made a difference for me, big time...from 649Mbps to 1000.02Mbps and thats what I actually pay for 1k Mbps. Dude I use HughesNet Gen5 it gets slower every year. One day I logged on Fortnite and my ping was 1561 on auto and my router was right next to it. I haven’t played Modern Warfare since Season 2 came out because the update was so big and all the other updates merged with it, and now I keep getting updates for other games that are over 5 gig, and THAT takes about a week. In fact, I have a Rocket League update in progress right now I could rant about my internet all day. It’s so bad, I can’t even call it potato wifi it’s just that bad

I don't think turning off Instant On power mode will help with speeding up the network speed, or anything related to latency or lag. This is something you should be looking up for your ROUTER, not for your Xbox.

1 more tip if you have a 4k 50-60 hertz tv then you can run native 1080p with 120 hertz. It makes a huuuuge diffrence in performance aswell.

I used to be on like 20-30 ping. Then I took like a month break off xbox. And I came back to 150+ ping constantly! So my dad started changing my xbox ip address to make it faster, ultimately, that didn't work out. Straight after he changed it my wifi crashed and it said "Your DNS server timed out" or something like that.. so HOPEFULLY this fixes it. If not I'll just stuff my face into a pillow and cry 🥺

Fun fact instant on is way more less laggy and more fps then energy saving on my Xbox one... Explain... Also don't change any DNS things at all people can get your IP address and stuff. Just trying to help you guys out.

No no no The advanced setting for video fidelity information is wrong. Colour space for a tv should be left standard unless you are running your Xbox on a pc monitor only then select PC RGB Colour depth 24 bits per pixel (8bit) is for tv with no HDR If your tv supports HDR only then select the higher mode. Rest of the wifi tips are solid tips Especially clearing the blu-ray persistent storage as this is the number 1 cause of dash board lag

I have over 915 download and 400 upload 39 latency. You might think that's good and all but I get out gunned in gun fights. My skill is great played for 10 years shooting. They gave me a normal modem I bought a fast router. I used wired cat 5e. I will adjust to this method especially with port. Not dns because it only helps downloading games. Good video, I will come back and see if it works.

@@AkiFoxxo well I got new wifo and brought a booster and plugged an ethernet from the booster to my Xbox so I play on about 20 ping real games and 0-10 creative . Ngl none of this stuff really works . Your best bet is getting new wifi or if u can't get an ethernet and a WiFi extender

dont use xbox 360 ethernet cable.......it uses less internal wires.......4 to be exact........its supposed to have 8 wires .......so it makes your wired connection slower

Bro, it's not expensive at all to get a 2 TB external hard drive of storage. Only 58 bucks, enjoy it while you can because trying to get extra storage on next-gen consoles is going to be really really expensive (200 bucks for 1 TB).
