This is my installation and overview of the MOLLE Tailgate Storage Panel from justiceoffroad.com. I also took a little time showing you how to install rivnuts for those who might be new to that process.

When searching for a storage solution for our Jeep Wrangler JKU, many of the options offered on today's market did not fit our needs. Many kits offer a Molle panel with a pre determined number of storage bags, priced over $200.00. Here at Justice Off Road we chose to select top quality products and to offer each item individually to allow you to custom design your tailgate storage solution.
Justice Off Road is proud to introduce their new heavy duty "Mil-Spec" Molle Panel designed for the Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU Tailgate. This Molle panel is triple stitched heavy duty fabric made to military Type III specifications right here on the east coast. There are eight mounting points so the panel will not sag when mounted properly. All mounting hardware is included.

I HIGHLY recommend that folks installing this on a JK use a drill depth rod when drilling into the tailgate to prevent inadvertantly poking all the way through the exterior sheet metal (surprisingly easy to do). I watched another video where a guy penetrated all the way through, twice, so I thought I would just take extra care when drilling. I initially just put tape on my drill bit to gauge depth, but did end up denting the exterior sheet metal when my drill bit finished penetrating through when making the 13/32" hole. T'was just a fraction of a second, but the damage was done. It's so easy to damage the exterior sheet metal when using a conventional drill bit. Be careful! Use a drill depth rod, or other depth controlling method to keep from ruining your day.

Outstanding job showing the installation. What really made this video helpful was using that peace of aluminum to show how the nutserts work and will hold the MOLLE Tailgate Panel in place. I had also wondered about the usefulness of these panels so watching you add the gear at the end was quite helpful.

I don't want to drill holes in my new jeep but if I were to, I would just use some good self tappers to hold that molle panel.

Thats what other brands use. His point was this is a more secure way of mounting, supposedly.

Another reason Justice probably didn't do a cutout for the hinge is that not all Jeeps have that hinge. I have a 2010 JKU and I don't have it. Great video as usual. 👍

Can you provide a link to the bag you're using to hold the recovery strap? The one on the inside part of the tailgate closest to the tailgate hinge. Didn't see it on Justices' website. Great thorough review, looks much sturdier than my smittybilt one, tugging on those bags and it didn't seem to pull at all.

+Traffic Time No...but lots of folks run huge 35" tires on the tailgate...so pretty much anything I put in the pouches is going to weigh much less! ;-)
