That miserable existence where you will loose your sanity ,your joy and if not carefull your life called marriage in Nigeria is not worth it. So what if people called you unmarried?? Honestly ur right. Suffrage in marriage for a woman in Nigeria is almost guaranteed. Nigerian men were not raised to love or treat women like human beings. They see them as subhuman and only value those abroad or white. If a woman is financially ok she should just hv a child/children she can comfortably afford and live her life in peace. Unless it's a serious, life-threatening case, couples shouldn't trivialize marriage by jumping out at the slightest excuse. The rate of divorce is high! People no longer hold sacred the vows of marriage. It does seem like they go in with a mind to walk out anytime,so most are not willing to put in the work. The children are the victims..next generation... God help us.

The divorce rate will continue to to rise as long as one partner refuses to respect and recognise the rights of the other. Marriage requires two consenting adults; If one treats the other in a manner that makes them to withdraw their consent, and they choose to leave the marriage rather than lose their life or sanity, no one can force them to stay. The Police have no official marriage counselling duties, and have no authority to order that any partner remain in a relationship.

Man: Despite what people watch and hear, comprehension is poor for many. The man is definitely at fault, even from his words. Imagine your wife giving you money to buy car for you both and gave you money and you bought a land for yourself and put your name only on the property. So he was driving Uber, and it’s not his own car? What happened to the car he had from the money the wife gave? At the age this man is? Does he think the parents are the one to force the woman to stay in marriage? Is marriage by force? She said she no longer wants the marriage, yet the man wants family village meetings.
