If you can arrange it go to Keeneland in Lexington KY to see the live races in April and October. It is the classiest track, to me anyway. And it’s an inexpensive day out just to hang. The sheer power of these horses!

He's 16.3 hands,that's pretty average for a thoroughbred. The racehorse Zenyatta was a massive 17.2 hands, that would be considered bigger than as you put it, "normal horses."

Most thoroughbreds are in the 15-16 hand range. Many are even in the 14 hand range. Sea Biscuit was only 14.2 hands tall. However the taller they are the longer their stride when running which can be an asset to them.

If he's 16.3 hands he is as tall as Secretariat. He is very well behaved and a beautiful color.👍🐎

Yes he did. The 1988 Belmont was won by Risen Star by 15 lengths. That was Secretariat's son! He was more know for producing great brood mares. One of his daughter's won horse of the year as a 2 year old. Genetics are not an exact science. If Secretariat was to reproduce himself I believe he would have to be cloned! He will always be my favorite. Justify does resemble him, he is a fine looking horse.

He's well behaved here, but per his entry in American Classic Pedigrees, "According to his (Justify's) connections, he is highly intelligent and eager to learn but is also dominant and inclined to bite." Not the sweet disposition of American Pharoah and Zenyatta, then. I would venture a guess he has been eager to learn his new job. (Though that is not always the case.)
