I went to her book signing and got to meet her. She is the most amazing a strong woman I have ever met. I told her that I have depression and that I was in a really bad place. She looked at me and told me you are beautiful and loved and it's gonna get better. I started to tear up and gave her a hug and she told me to stay strong. I will never forget that day or how much her story helped me get through my dark times.

OMG....this has gone to the very roots of myself....because my son is my savior and I soooo relate to all of this Pattie...I was sexually abused all my childhood and no one was there for me but God. Thank you for this interview. But I don't live my life as a victim anymore, I'm strong and after so many unhealthy relationships I just pray that God guides me to my next step. My son is my life and he has been my inspiration and my motivation to keep my head up high.
