@E.K. yeah so throwing an interception and then grabbing the guy by the shirt is just classy and true grit?... I will take Herb over Rivers sorry you had to disagree.
@MRIscanman3 жыл бұрын
@E.K. you r preaching to the choir. You can be a jerk without cursing and Rivers was always that way. I get he is faith heavy but I have met plenty of faith heavy people who are jerks. Ya I loved Rivers when he was our QB but that doesn't change his Antics which were over the top. Seven words. Billy Volek AFC Championship Game. Super Bowl.

As an Oregon fan, it was so comical seeing all the "experts" rag on Herbert. Oregon's arrogant recruiting philosophy after Chip Kelly left the cupboards pretty bare for Justin's whole career, yet he still shined. Herbert's cannon of an arm was just too much for a college receiving corps made up of converted DBs and RBs. Not to mention 3 head coaches and a bunch of offensive coordinators. If you wanted to evaluate Herbert, look at Oregon when Justin went down with a broken collarbone. Herbert was on fire to start the season, then the backup is forced to come in and has games of 145 yards, 23 yards, 74 yards, 47 yards, and 31 yards. Herbie was averaging about 300 per game, even in a run-focused offense. Put Herbert on a top team with a great receiving corps, Joe Burrow wouldn't have won the Heisman. Chargers got a great one. I'm thrilled he's doing so well and that the country is waking up to what Oregon fans have known since before he even took a college snap!
@alanjohnson26623 жыл бұрын
Oregon fan and alum here, too. Justin was underutilized at Oregon with its run first offenses, receivers who couldn't catch his passes, and offense and quarterback coaches who were inferior. Oregon was lucky that he stayed. He loved the school and dreamed his whole life of being a Duck. Now he has the receivers and coaches that he deserves.

He’s almost the polar opposite of Rivers... Love River’s passion for the game and how he trash talks but when he gets flustered/heated, it’s downhill from there and no coming back. Herbert seems to be very chill and poised under pressure and lets his plays do the talking.
@samw.87343 жыл бұрын
What are you talking about? Rivers has the most +14 point comeback wins in NFL history and tied with Tom Brady for the most +17 point comebacks in NFL history. I swear to God, Chargers' fans completely define Rivers based off of his 2019 performance. He has had WAY MORE successful comebacks than failing ones. No one is perfect!

I’m not too knowledgeable about Dan Patrick but can someone explain the attraction of getting interviewed by him? These are supposed to be fun interviews but Dan Patrick just comes off too strong. He’s not douchey or anything I can’t pin point it but just something about how he talks / asks questions comes off not so likeable.

I've been extremely excited for the team and how amazing he's been playing. But, it was just hard to believe that he was able to keep playing at such a level, week after week. Even after seeing a few of those absolutely top class throws he made (especially in the TB loss against that top rated defense). I still couldn't believe he was that good. But now you can't ignore the kind of numbers he's put up. When you're destroying every record that were put up by the best of the best. Well, that kind of stuff is impossible to turn your head at
