He won’t get more then JJ.. 100% guarantee. Bengals are paying burrrow and Vikings have no qb they are paying. Bengals are also super cheap.. they don’t pay big money. He will slide in under JJ and way less guaranteed

Chase needs to be a bengal for life... Production is based on the QB throwing to you... Chase not producing is directly correlated to Burrow's health not just his health... And the fact that Bengals need to scheme for him... i.e. one game he has 10 to 12 targets then another game you have a backup TE getting more targets that chase... That was a WTF moment for me last year with Tanner hudson... it happened I'm not making this up... Chase can produce if we make him a featured option in this offense... And trust me He knows that, that rest of the League know that, but we have zac calling plays...

I agree now that the market is set, I think Chase is gonna get paid this summer. Bengals are gonna pay Chase, it isn’t even a question. It’s who they are. They paid Carson and Chad, Andy and AJ, and will pay Burrow and Chase. The Bengals always pay their QB1 & WR1. In that same vein, WR2 always leaves for the 2nd contract payday. Housh, Marvin Jones, and Tee will as well. It’s sucks but everybody can’t get paid #1 money. That’s why this year gotta be the year. They gotta win it all

Go ahead and wait a year to sign him. I’ve seen talk of the WR position starting to go the way of the RB position, where it makes more sense to just draft new guys rather than pay crazy amounts for the veterans. And if the WR market starts to dip, you’ll be happy you waited to sign. Spend your money on proven O-lineman, QBs and defense.

I know James is a wide receiver guy, but there is no way any WR is worth that much. Jamarr included, the Bengals would be better off giving Tee top 10 money and trading Uno. What team has ever won a championship with that kind of percentage of the cap wrapped up in a QB and WR. JoeyB is the man. He can make mid tier WR's look good. Who were the Chiefs receivers last year?

@@BengalsTalk well the mahomes deal got done a while ago compared to goff this year. Herbert I'd argue hasn't done as much as goff. I think herbert has the potential to be better but doesn't have the success like goff. Plus I'd argue the qb market is different.

@@BengalsTalk I see your points I just don't view the receiver position has as much leverage as the qb position. U can win without a receiver 1, u can't win without a franchise qb in today's nfl. The trent dilfer days are over. Don't get me wrong the receiver position is a premium position but it's kinda like comparing apples to oranges. And your right lamb could get more. I guess that's just how the league works. Salary inflation but I'm just in the mindset that the best should be paid the best and the 2nd best should be paid the 2nd best. Especially if chase is extended this year. I guess next year due to inflation I could see I guess chase matching or getting slightly more than jj.

I love Jamar and this is one of those times I'd rather have burrow throwing to 3 B rated receivers than 1 A+ receiver and 2 C or Ds. A great QB makes mediocre WRs better for cheaper so money can be spent elsewhere

Burrow and Chase are generational talents. You MUST pay them. Burrow is getting 55 million. Hell Mahomes is down the list at 50 million but everyone had cow when he signed his 10 year deal. Plus the cap keeps increasing so there will be more money available each year. Pay Chase now and dont let it get out of hand next year because then the price will be much higher, like 38 to 40 million. Look what happened to our defense when we let Bates and Bell walk. Defense was awful and we end up resigning Bell and all Bates did was be an All Pro. Lesson learned.

Gonna be honest… bengals arnt in the Same situation as Vikings, they are paying 5x as much for a qb lol.. and have 2 receivers that need to get big contracts. Chase will end up being a little less. 32-33 Mil a year and a lot less guaranteed. Around 90ish im guessing. Bengals are a cheap team and have a cheap owner. Surprised bengals paid burrow even as early as they did with his injury’s.. I hope he doesn’t get hurt this year of burrow is a bust.. you will have to draft another qb. Dude is a great qb when he plays but some guys are just injury prone..
