Moving on to Dunwich: - Zoey: Agreed. - Rex: Ooh, I don't agree with this. Yeah, I would swap Daisy and Rex. I think Daisy has no problem getting a similar level of clues while also providing a ton of support to the team with cards like Old Book of Lore (3) or the PP (teleport tome). I think Rex's ability to get more clues is less important now because the card pool allows you to get the clues you need no problem anyway. - Jenny: A bit painful, but Jenny is D-tier, yeah. Also, looking at her and Skids, and I think people understand why Rogues were so bad early on. (A few minutes later, she gets boosted to C-tier, and I'm here to say: put Jenny in D-tier you coward! /j) - Jim: Complete aside, I've been playing some parallel Jim recently, he's fantastic. Anyway, you're right. - Pete: Yeah, you're spot-on. Ashcan in scenario 1 (or as a reinforcement when someone got killed/insane) he's great. But he's not as powerful as the campaign progress.

Carcosa time: - Mark: Yeah, I agree with what you said. I think they only thing I'd add is that FFG has started printing better healing cards, which benefits Mark (and Parallel Agnes when we get to her) a lot. - Minh: wow I continue to have a very different view on the Seekers. I wonder if it based on player count? I also don't play true solo a lot, but I do a lot of 2-player. I think Minh is A+ at minimum and it could be argued S-tier. One thing I continue to miss in discussions about Minh is her signature: it just draws you an extra card each turn. Paired with cards like Perception and Eureka (which, you talked about investigators needing setup and tons of XP, these are all 0XP cards you want to run anyway), she routinely draws her deck multiple times a game. - Sefina: I actually dislike Double, Double as a card, I think it is quite win-more, but I have seen some fun Underworld Support Sefina decks. That being said, I think B-tier is fantastic, she's the opposite of Roland in many ways, but I think they're about the same level. - Akachi: So, I agree with you that she's A-tier, I would still put Agnes in A+ (I think Survivor 0-2 is VERY STRONG) and unfortunately some of the recent cards don't really reward a single extra charge (IE Blur). I agree she has some cool jank builds! - So, one thing. His name is William. WillIAM. Not Will. I don't know, it just bothers me. Also sweet, seeing him in A+ is probably higher than I would, but you definitively sell me on him. - Lola: Whoops, I forgot this was a 6-investigator box. I don't really know where she would go.

Snake time: - Leo: Yeah, agreed. I don't really care about guardians, I think he's worse than Mark and about on par with Zoey. - Ursula: Agreed, she's so great to run around the map and get clues. Also, I would like to speak in defense of doctor Maleson, he's actually quite good in solo. - Finn: I think that getting a free action to evade each turn in the faction with Pickpocketing (2) is a lot of economy? Which is not better than Trish, but it is respectable. - Father Mateo: I think his biggest crime was being printed two cycles early, since in TFA I think the idea was that you seal bad tokens to hit the Elder Sign more often. Which didn't work. He became the Bless investigator with TIC, but I think yeah, Kohaku is just muscling in on his territory. At least he gets 5 bonus XP. - Calvin: I would like to put him in A-, but he's probably at B. He's very similar to Hank, so I hope he gets a bit more.

- Carolyn: Higher than I expected, but the more you talk about her the more I find myself agreeing with her. I do think she can struggle in 2-player teams, but she's got a LOT of value in EotE + SK. - Joe: I think I'm a little higher on Joe than B-tier, but I also don't remember the last time I saw him on the table so IDK B is fine. Also, I find that the Hunch Deck actually doesn't seem to be getting better with age: there's not been a lot of great Insights you want in there beyond the classics (Working a Hunch, Preposterous Sketches, etc)? - Preston: I would've put him in A-tier if Shed a Light hadn't been tabood. I think Preston is the best investigator at just completely ignoring the chaos bag and a fantastic ability. - Diana: heck yeah. Best Dodge user. She's also fun for jank if you want to use her 3's. - Marie: I think you're right on B-tier? With Scarlet Keys bringing some better Doom tools, I think she's gone up for me. - Rita: Now that Dirty Fighting is a card, as well as Disguise, she's on a new level.

- Tommy: I would go higher on Tommy. I think his ability to soak for the team reaches game-breaking levels of shutting off damage and horror as a threat. - Mandy: Agreed. - Tony: Agreed. Reign eternal, king. - Luke: I'd still have put him in S. I admire your strength to put him in A+. - Patrice: She's like the perfect B-tier investigator. A little unreliable, but so much fun.

Fantasy Flight Games has made print and play versions of certain investigators. That's why there's two of some investigators.

Because there are very few investigators that are bad, meaning that if there was an E or F tier, no one would really hit them. And if you want, to make yourself feel like there are, just pretend D tier is F tier and go up from there. But I don't think that is an accurate assessment of investigator power level.

Most tier lists I've seen bottom out on D tier, it's why we use D tier.

But they don't have any of these half grades then. Doesn't matter really. Keep up the good work and hopefully do all campaign ranking soon ^^. @@PlayingBoardGames

You would think, but I've seen more people whiff on a Sefina mulligan than a regular mulligan.

She has a slightly bigger deck size which offsets the 13 a bit, but also the problem is that she has no actual ability. In addition, the initial draw influences the effectiveness of your signatures greatly as well. If you draw poorly, you remember it more since it has such a negative impact. Most rogues can just draw out of a poor opening hand and be totally fine - Sefina can’t.
