A narrow blade putty knife with the metal topped handle works great for getting under the lip of the old seal to get it started.

Very helpful. I’m in the middle of tearing down an 08 Dana 60 for my Jeep crawler project. Going to swap 1 tons under it and needed help tearing down the axle so I can prep it for paint/ cutting the radius arm brackets off and everything trying to prep it for the truss I’m gonna put on it. I wasn’t sure how to go about the vacuum hub seals but now I do thank you But great video it helped a lot thank you

I know it’s been a while since you did it, but do you know what size bolt that was that you took off the coil spring bracket at 7:49? I can’t find it anywhere by itself or the size. The videos never disappoint keep up the good work tho👍🏽

Best video on the internet! vacuum locking hub seal 6:20, do you know what you can use in place, i run manual locking hubs as well but i know you need that big ass seal in there!

You can buy a seal driver took off Amazon that works good , but I’ve always just left the seal out no issues.
