The reason why your Hellfires sometime miss is that they use a special guidence system accounting for the acceleration and deacceleration of the target and gives lead to the ATGM. This system requires smooth inputs, if you manually guide them, the system interprets you sudden hand movements (shaking, sudden corrections) as the target accelerating very quickly. If you would lock on to a target, the inputs into the guidance system would be smoother wich increases the chances of hitting your target. Like talking about the price and stats and how well it preforms just like the lineup video you did not long ago. I think that it would be very helpful if somebody wanted to buy off the marketplace to add to there lineup or start grinding a tree

Those starstreaks are absolutely fantastic against soft targets. They hull bteak real well and are great against light tanks

I've learned with hellfires you want to avoid manually guiding them as you would a vikhir or any other atgm. Just let the computer lock it and they will hit much more, and if you don't lock it then try to keep the mouse as still as possible

Using Starstreaks for spaa or light vehicle are much better than hellfire. Quick and deadly :)

survivability doesn't make sense as they made the frontal armour including the Hull completely non existing (actually none) so a 9mm can kill your gunner as there is 0 armour

Apache "muh 50cal resistant"(typically regurgitated by fanboys) doesn't mean a whole lot, it depended on extreme distance and where it's hit. For example cockpit side glass are extremely thin so basically any rifle round will go through at basically any relevant range.

With the increase in helicopters getting FnF weapons, I’m hoping US helis get the Hellfire Ls, hellfire B and Ks are way too unreliable and leave you exposed for way too long to be useful

the stock grind is horrible, I mean really, really horrible BUT once you unlock the Starstreaks the fun begins when you're finally able to bully back those pesky Ka-50's (but it should be mentioned that a skilled Ka-50/52 player will still challenge you)

Now they just need to remodel the CRV7 the best 2.75 inch rocket in the world and not base it on the Hydra we have in game. The first game those rockets would have shredded that tank.

The pathetic part of all this is that it's a Longbow variant and should be sporting an FCS that allows for radar designation of ground targets and the ability to launch multiple hellfires. Gaijin's solution to the Ka issue was to nerf helicopter "lock on" beyond 7km to equalize helicopters? A complete joke really as all it did was put the UHT with its fire and forget on par at lock-on ranges. Any Ka pilot of any experience and not sleeping can still peel you out of the sky at 8-9km by manually guiding and pre-firing vihkrs. They still have a LONG way to go toward anything remotely balanced when it comes to helicopter gameplay. They put them in, skipped off to naval, and have ignored both in favor of ground barring silly tweaks like the above. Side note: Worth mentioning that MWS is of dubious help vs anything but air-to-air missiles of heat-seeking variety your least common threat. Chaff won't help you and flares won't save you vs ATGMs. Long made short the helicopters and ground vehicles that are threats to you are uninhibited by MWS countermeasures. That said it sure is handy when someone trying to be sneaky gives away their presence and location because a missile flew in their general direction and their MWS goes into panic mode. Apache's and their hellfires have been horribly modeled in-game if Ka-50/52s are the standard of measure of what is allowable in terms of capability.

If you can land a sabot shell on a heli it should die or atleast take more damage . . Heli damage models dont include electric pannels and systems that if a round penetrates would be destroyed . and its the same issues with when you litterally cut one in half and its still flying and shooting with no tail .. like no it would have no power and fall out the sky stop .

NATO helis really need some new ordinance besides Hydras and SNEBs, their damage is so unbelievably mediocre and their penetration is very lackluster, not to mention their accuracy past like 1km is pretty much 100% guess work. Maybe if we had APKWS II and CRV7 FAT rockets it would be something to mix it up and give them more variety.

I think petain is still better.. it has same 16 hellfires and also can carry 4 sidewinder missiles and has missile warning sistem with 30 chaf/flares

Helicopters are useless. Just hovering above the map, and killing everyone with the AGM doesn't make you good.
