As a VFX Generalist and learning animation, WE ARE NOT MAKING THE STORY !!! Ultimatly it's the Executif that decide what we are making. Most of the times we have to fight to have the CONTEXT of the animation we are making. WE CAN'T PUT ANY EMOTIONS BEHIND because of the way they are providing informations to the animators. They don't understand how we work (the executifs and the client) and THEY DON'T CARE ! Because it's only for MONEY !!!!! I'm boycotting my own work sometimes because it's just so sad. That's why we need to make the good movies and animation movies out there WORK !!! Everyone need to say a word about the state of the industry right now. If we say something as animators we can get Blacklisted from studios and trust me when I say it's THE WORST THING that can happen to you.

You have to understand that the world we live in at the moment is a fucking consumer overdose. It's all about money everywhere, and all the executives I've met say to me, ‘But we have to make up for the lack of productivity we had during COVID and the Hollywood strikes’. Last time I heard this in a studio that wasn't even open during the strikes. Executives that had the balls to say that change studios like everyone else and they're pretty rubbish at everything we complain about. Sometimes I meet good execs (it's rare like a brilliant pokemon) and they're old animators or generalists who want to make the industry a better place. Don't forget that in the 2D/3D VFX industry, your career usually ends early, around 40~, because you can't have a family (you have to move from one country to another every 9 months) and you're very tired because you're working overtime all the time. Now the viewers are blaming us because their childhood show isn't the same, I'M A FAN AS WELL, WE'RE CONCERNED AS WELL!!!! Or because AI is taking our jobs, we're scared too. If you want to do something, speak kindly of us and look for stories about VFX. We are the people who make your films, and without us, ALL THE DIRECTORS would be dead. Every films that exceeds 100.000$/€ of budget is able to get good vfx. And i'm on a lot of set of films, you have always that light that is not right or the mic is in the way. we need a chair there, or replace the pattern of the walls,... or the location of the sets ends at a certain time and we can't make more shoots of a same scene so we have to move on. (last set problem was this). Because we have people on Internet that dissect film, directors usually watch thoses videos for learning and they said that everyone is gonna do the same with their work. We had severals cases like The Titanic by James Cameron where he pissed the studio in charge of the birds and animals in generals about the size of some seaghouls or something like that if I remember right. It's call been Pixel F*ck. But there is a multitude of other incoherence due to editing and stuff that wasn't related to us.

the entire movie just reminds me of one really long cutscene for a game...especially that cube! reminds me of when you set the graphics to as low as the can go so there's just no texture
