My cousin was a commercial pilot and it is a career that takes over your life. Complete physicals, training, tests and flight simulations every 6 months. Bidding for blocks of flight times, the right frame of mind, dealing with the physical toll on your body and balancing family life. All pilots deserve respect and these ladies are fine representatives of the profession!

@@icthys2024 Believe me, it’s not about money, it’s impossible to imitate really love for aviation, just like the pleasure of driving a huge airliner, which is the A-380 from Airbus. Sophie and Shayma are magnificent and very neat romantic pilots - this can be seen even from such a short video. I will not share them, but I sincerely wish Shaima to become the captain of the ship for my next viewing! Good luck girls! You are simply adorable!

As the dad of a little girl, it warms my heart to see these lady pilots. I can truly believe it when I tell my daughter she can be anything she wants.

After 22 years in the air force, the Airbus A380 is the most modern cockpit I've ever seen. I knew they were switching from yoke to side stick controller. What I didn't expect was pull out keypad and multiple video screens that show everything including external cameras and airport ground maps. Cuts out having all that paperwork trying to find airport taxi maps. Funny thing is I understand what Abu Dhabi Ground is saying. Even the guy running the tug... I am very impressed as to the beauty of the pilot and her great intelligence. It's easy to think women in that side of the world still aren't allowed to drive or go to school. Oh yeah, the Airbus A380 is the largest commercial aircraft which since this video, has been retired by most airlines because of efficiency. And this aircraft is run with such a small cockpit!

Can't drive or go to school. sure about that? looks like these girls are doing a mighty fine job of driving and I'm quite certain they went to school to learn how to fly one of these monsters as well. I think some companies are bringing their A380's out of mothballs as well.. but yeah the new twin turbofans are a lot more efficient. Shaima is not only smart she's gorgeous as well.

These pilots are professionals. I'd fly with them and with other similar pilots regardless of sex. Unfortunately there are too many sexists who can't stand females in air industry.

I flew from Toronto to Paris then to Kinshasa, 13 hours flight and I experienced some crazy turbulences where I felt the plane dropped a bit lol, I started praying and saying that God please I left my kids back in Canada lol.

This is a whole new perspective on when you fly around the world. I think everybody that takes these kinds of trips should know the professionalism of the crew. It is remarkable more women are flying you from one point to another with precision. These people are top notch professionals. And they don't get paid enough.

You make it look sooooo easy. I have a flightsim and find it really interesting. I noticed on take off, your eyes were fixed on the Attitude Indicator which I don't do as I'm busy looking out of the window. But now I know how it's done, I'll be doing that in future. Excellent video. 👍👍

Absolutely love the connection to the first female balloonist with Sophie's name! It's inspiring to witness these two individuals working seamlessly together, breaking down barriers in their own unique way. @scrub44 OH, so please tell me how caked on makeup helps to fly the plane or fight fires or shoot a gun. My wife of 37 years never wore makeup because it did nothing to help her with house work or wash clothes or run the vacuum. Put a bag over their head and they can still fly the plan just as well. As I said, there are plenty of old ugly fat men pilots who fly planes just as good if not better. Makeup does nothing to fly the plane but looking fake clown makeup for the camera. It's fake. It's not reality. Why would you want to go ga ga over someone with clown makeup? it is scary to think what they really look like without. Your just a young bozo who is fooled by makeup. 🤣

Wow! She's absolutely gorgeous. I love how she flying it through 1,100 feet instead of engaging the AP. She had her eyes glues to the weather radar and HSI the entire time. Exceptional CRM between the two ladies.

If you said God is non-existent then how you keep breathing bcoz we can't see the oxygen as well. Does it mean oxygen non-existent too? Can you, your friend or family create your own blood, if you run out of blood bcoz of cuts or road accidents? Can we human call for the rain and stop it? Okay, So they separate the Flight Check Cross Check-All Call at starting one and complete during taxi? I'll have to watch again but very smooth, very professional. Great communication between the two. Love the way she is in constant observation with the radar AND grounding. Very skilled. Excellent! 👍🏾 Thank you for posting.

@@m.shahidur7 I live in the real world, I fly, and I’m not sure what you were implying. A380s are large but relatively easy to fly. Unless she’s new, no reason she’d be nervous or tense.

Ultra professional towards her job. The way she focused on instrument panel while ascending makes me want to fly only when she is the Pilot in the cockpit. Respect! 🙏

@G B True but that is why we have anti collision system installed in planes and moreover she was accompanied by another pro pilot as a captain. All she cared about was the comfort of the passengers and things went well..

@G B look at the pitch of the nose after she rotates. You couldn't use VFR if you wanted to.

And i have rewatch a couple of takeoff runs in both Airbus and Boeing I've noticed every pilot flying is just so concentrated in following their flight director rather than looking outside and having a look where there going

@@butter8097 that's the difference between VFR (visual flight rules) and IFR (instrument flight rules). If you look closely she's flying into some pretty crappy weather.

As a rope access tech, pre-flight checks by pilots remind me of all those safety checks you do before you go over a 75 floor building. Much respect to all the pilots.

I can barely control my pride and joy at seeing women as both pilot and copilot! The world is a much better place for this. The sky is the limit now for young women. Never cease to be amazed by the frequent micro hand movements of the pilots on the airbus joysticks. The plane never seems to be deviating from its path and yet these micro movements seem to be necessary. I have no idea at all how they know exactly how to adjust the joystick!

Can you drive? Think about all the subconscious movements your hand makes to keep a car going straight. Similar thing applies here except wind resistance means you need to adjust, rather than the typography of the road/land
