Celine dion is able to do anything she wants with her voice. Her voice is a music instrument.

We can all agree that Celine Dion shocked us here. We know she's great but we don't get to see these live unbelievable vocal stylistics much. What's most amazing is that she still can kill it at age 50 now.

My favourite is Celine Dion, she has SO much precision in her runs, you can hear every single note and I just love her tone and clarity in her voice and her ability to sustain such long phrases effortlessly! I think Mariah has so much versatility throughout her range and really is superhuman when it comes to vocal range and transitioning between registers also I know it's nothing to do with the video but Mariah has written on every single one of her original songs. Whitney had such a well full rounded powerful voice, there are plenty of powerful singers but not with the richness that Whitney had. They're all amazing in their own way.

the best things in each one of them in my opinion. Celine Dion: 1- Crazy belting range. 2- Versatility (going through multiple notes very fast like it's nothing to her). 3- Small fast runs. 4- Resonance, power and breath control in holding the notes. Mariah Carey: 1- Whistle register. 2- Control (she controls her registers effortlessly to do some amazing transitions). 3- Powerful low notes. 4- Mid-speed long runs. Whitney Houston: 1- Perfect vibrato (very strong and stable vibrato). 2- Phenomenal support (even her tone doesn't change a bit when she sings very high... her throat stays super wide opened). 3- Angelic tone. 4- The most soulful singer ever.

What most people might miss is how Mariah intricated her legato into the melody. She has so many creative runs.

Whitney has a powerful voice/loud voice like Céline like so raw. Mariah has this voice that is like a well produced in a studio like sound. Like it’s high quality sound.

Mariah's runs focuses more on the transitions between registers and she is mostly agile in her whistle and falsetto register and how she goes down after doing agile runs is just impressive as hell...

Celine is one of a kind white woman im telling you lol that voice is something else

1. Celine’ riffs/runs for resonance, clarity, precision, agility, lung capacity, hence, ease of effort. Her R/Rs are so intriguing to listen to. What sets her apart is her blood-pumping, powerful, ringing tone that’s makes her notes literally sound like they’re bouncing off the walls in an echoey chamber and pierces the soul like lightning. On the other end of the spectrum, her angelic, smooth, flute sounding tone can make you feel as if you’re swimming with whales or entering the gates of heaven, sure to bring you to tears. If the universe had a voice, it would be Celine’s. 2. Mariah’s riffs/runs for the transitions to extreme lows and highs.. rich, silky, more vulnerable tone. What sets her apart is her ability to easily & expertly navigate through the whistle register which is why she always remains the high note queen of the world. 3. Whitney’ runs/riffs for easy transitions that incorporate her iconic, strong head voice, always executing with what can only be described as soul. She also scores high in agility which is what riffs/runs is all about, while her often raspy tone adds something special to the mix. I’d say her only setback is that she didn’t engage so much in riff/run techniques as the previous two, that would’ve given us more variety of R/R content as they did. What sets her apart is that she was first to hit the stage in this era of obscenely technical vocals and set a standard that brought out the best in the rest. That and of course her thunderous voice that still shakes the world.

Interm of this video about run and riffs. My order would be : 1. Mariah has the fastest and effortless run and that transition was out of this world (and i'm not gonna talk about her God gifted various register here.. lol). i love how she knows when and where to put her run in singing. 2. Celine, most acrobatic run, impresive, up and down. Backing forward. The most complex run. 3. Whitney, gospel run and scaling with her powerful voice. And that tone, just one of the kind. Out of that three divas, whitney is the one who mostly i can feel emotion in her runs.

*Mariah* is definitely the most agile here and *Whitney* is unbelievably agile considering that she has a very large voice; *Celine's* immense agility was definitely the most surprising! Very pleasant ✨

Celine's vocals are butter & she does all that stuff like it's nothing, I mean the woman was face to face with Aretha (Reminder: Queen of Soul) and matched her run for run...really!?! I think I blacked out for a couple of minutes...thanks a lot! Look, I know what she can do but she still creeps up on me with those dirty runs!! There should be a caution sign attached to that woman that reads listen at your own risk, my voice might put you in the hospital! It's so easy for her I don't get it, I'm always at a loss!

Céline has never stopped seeing her vocal cord specialist and remains completely silent a day or two before a show when she can. I remember seeing David Foster say that Celine had discipline and Mariah only had a humidifier and she neglected herself as she got older.

Celine Dion runs are so under rated. They are so good. I prefer queen Celine. The other 2 are queenš in their own right as well of course. But Celine is just perfection for me.

Ugh the vocal trinity! The songbird supreme Mariah’s runs are so fast and is very agile. Her runs in whistle register are UNMATCHED. They sad she is able to run in chest and then transition to whistle register is just amazing. And she can do 55 note with in like 15 seconds in WHISTLE REGISTER. Ugh the way she goes up and down scales it’s like high notes one minute and BAM she’s hitting Eb3s. The voice ms Whitney Houston can RUN, ugh them runs in head voice are great and her vibrato is just wow 😮, not as agile but is amazing, she gives me church vibes. And ms queen of the power ballad really surprised me here she the 2nd fastest with her foreign scales and her runs using her upper belts, her runs at times can be overused like the one with Aretha but she is just amazing! Long live this amazing trinity!

They should have had some footage of *Mariah's* chest riffs and runs slowed down; she utilizes legato thus most people actually miss the amount of notes she covers ....

It's impossible to argue about who's better among the three. They are different from each other. They are legend. My favorite and inspiration is Celine. I really like her voice and personality. I also like Mariah and Whitney but Celine really got me!

All three are in the trinity for a reason. Mariah and h er amazing whistles and runs, transitions. No one can change that for her. She's one of the greatest and ill always be. No matter what. Sure her voice has lowered or whatever and lost certain power, but she still kills it even today. Whitney, Rest In Peace, was one of the best. Her ability and power. Will always be the best, even after her horrid vocal fall, she will always go down in history. Celine, the only artist I've seen who can run in such uniqueness. Her scale is completely different from the western scale. Celine has done even more amazing runs that has not been shown here, but I think you get the point. She runs so uniquely, that no one else can. She runs the fastest out of all, and the clearest. So quick, you can keep up, but still so clear, you hear every single note. She's the only one that has kept her voice the best and is still slaying up to today. I hope fandoms can realize that both Celine and Mariah are amazing, and not push untrue facts. Some of Mariah’s runs could even be not that noticed because of how fast they are.

Mariah's musicality sets her apart. She is inventive with her runs and not just for show. When she runs..it creates music...a language of story and the soul...not just floaty vibrato. She is just a master of her full instrument.

For me, it doesn't matter how perfect your voice is. What's important for me is the connection wherein I can feel the soul/emotion of the singer. So I'll go with Whitney Houston.
