The drawback is that you had to make a modification to your sensor for the front door. If I bought this device it would not be a simple fix that would work, that is the way things go for me. So, this is a hard no. I'm glad you were honest about the mod you had to make because there will be plenty of other people that don't mind the challenge.

Cons...with multiple sensors you have no clue which one is going off. DAMMIT no one is at the front door.. DAMMIT no one at the back door. Must be the tool shed out back. Who knows. All sending units send out the same signal to the receiver. You know what I mean.

Total piece of crap. EVERYTHING and sometimes NOTHING AT ALL sets it off. There is no way to adjust the width of the beam. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Question : is the receiver need to have a light of sight in transmitter ? . Or you can put receiver anywhere in the house , even if not line of sight .

I read somewhere the sensors have to be at least 3 feet away from the chime and a computer. Maybe that's why it wasn't working?

what to do if its not working anymore? buy a new one? been changing batteries, tried charging it thru' its usb port still the alarm/sound doesn't come out but the lights & sensor still working. thanks
