Poor Luna essentially resorted to self-harm for what she believed was atonement, for her wrongdoings as Nightmare Moon. And it’s probably safe to assume she was doing that since she reverted back to her old form in Season 1’s première huh. So however many moons that was chronologically in the show...that’s some pretty heavy stuff. So that scene in the end sleeping on an island in her dream, was probably the first decent night sleep she had without that guilt in years.

"Oh, no!! Barney the Dinosaur's invaded!!" OK, I had to laugh at that.
