Its been about 6 Months with the Evolution J2's and I thought it would be a great time to give you my long term overview! We dive into the beam modes while i wait for the dealership to open.

I put the complete set on our 13’ JK, eliminated my need for a light bar, etc... Very bright, large coverage and modern/stylish look, worth the money, simple, basic install

Helpful video. I just purchased them and will do the install today. My purchase was primarily for aesthetics as the stock halogens leave a lot to be desired. I also hope the overall light output is better.

Do these DRLs have the patterns? such as blinking drls. or is it just a uniform light beam?

Nice video. How do you handle snow? My LEDs get blocked regularly in heavy snow. I have to get get and wipe them by hand?

Yeah, there had been a couple times when I had to clean them off. Apparently they are about the release a version with an automatic heater coil built in. Keep an eye out for those!

I am considering which headlight upgrade to go with. I want these but wow they are expensive. If I go with them, do you have a recommendation for matching fog lights?

They are pricey, but keep in mind they are 100% DOT approved and work seamlessly with the wranglers oem harness. You really do get what you pay for, and headlights are a worthwhile investment! I’ve shopped around a lot and am considering these they seem to be one of or maybe the best brand. if you’re in Canada, Just Jeeps in Toronto has them for around $675 for the pair and that’s a pretty good deal i think for this make. Headlights are pretty important safety wise and I think something worth spending more on them.

Does anyone happen to know how these headlights react to being installed in a manual transmission Jeep? I noticed they stay off when in park, but does it have the same effect when in neutral?

No, they stay on in neutral but go off as you engage the E brakes

Were these truly "Plug and Play" with the DRL? I guess I should ask if you had to do any programming in order to have the daytime running lights feature work. I have seen other daytime running lights where there is an extra step for that feature to be enabled. Looking at getting a pair for my own Hardrock. Great videos!

The more I dug, the more questions I have. Do you by any chance have the ECE RHT version? I have found that the DOT version does not have DRL, but the ECE does. I have also found contradicting information as to whether or not the ECE complies with regulation in the United States (where I reside.) And regardless, how do you know which version you are purchasing because the only place I can find differences in ECE and DOT is on JW's spec sheets.

Pretty sure mine are dot, whether that complies with ece as well is another story.. Not sure. The info provided in the video is all off of a plug and play install, no modification required. i found online the ECE RHT but at a 200$ more and they have H4 connector plus 2 other wires for DRL ..... i bought them 🤷🏻‍♂️ waiting for the parcel, where i live, overseas, jk headlights wiring are H4 connectors and an other connectors for the DRL on original headlights so for upgrade it i had to buy the ECE DRL ones.

what if one of the bulbs go out , im assuming it's all one piece?

It's one piece, good thing leds last an extremely long time

yes and u do have a 5 year warranty , is it more a blue light than white? from the video it looks more bluish

Hey there. They have a well defined beam pattern that definitely does a great job illuminating the lane and surrounding area. The middle portion does provide a defined brightness 👍

That's a problem with Society these days, it seems like you can't speak your mind without someone crying and finding a safe space to go hide in! After lot of deliberations and days of research I finally pulled the trigger. And I have to say I’m NOT impressed. I can’t justify the price with light output. I had super bright halogens beforehand and I see only marginal difference!

Wow really what halogens were you running? Mine were horrible!
