People have to know this , Murray said in the 'Bring us Home' documentary that he is clutch because of his father ,They use to practice in the rain and snow nonstop ,and his father use to be give him less time to pick his spot to shoot ,thus blowing a horn in his ears and making a little bit of sound to distract him . I think the key is that he never gets too shaken. He's a bucket from anywhere and rarely goes fully cold from the field. The more chess match star-centric atmosphere of the playoffs allows his constant probing and testing of the defense to thrive. On top of that, his clutch factor is nearly unmatched. He scraps on offense and defense, you can tell how hard he works even among a group of people as hard working as the NBA. Truly impressive.

Im hurt by the last 2 years thanks to the nuggets, and im not gonna sit here and try to flex the 17 chips. Jamal Murray is that fucking guy. He broke my fucking heart game after game. I’ve been saying since last years playoffs that he is the difference maker in the Denver/LA series. Jokic is phenomenal and Denver is an all around great team from the coach to the role players to the stars, but Jamal Murray is the reason they beat us. Every single fucking game we are well matched in the first half, but as soon as the we get to the 2nd half, every time Jamal Murray shoots the ball my stomach twists. Eerily reminiscent of Kobe with his ridiculous shotmaking. Respect.

I think Jamal averaged 30+ PPG last series with lakers in WCF last year. It might sound cliche but its the absolute trust Denver has between players to make the right play too. Guy shoot horribly in game 2 and injured in game 5, yet Jokic still trusted him 100% and did not call the ball at both times. Its weird but Denver does look like they figured out the power of friendship.
