Same, it's not a coincidence that both Gina and Kaylee got feedback about being too stiff, all they need is some more time to mature as performers! Personally I think they'd be better off keeping on training and debuting in a later group, they will be even more impressive then.

@@eilafashraf9130why Like i disagree because Camillas performance felt crazy good. Everything was serving, and her vocals and small adjustments to the song just broke it through the roof. Most people that said Camilla deserved it said that it was because it was clear her vocal range overshadowed Camilla. And like yes it did in this clip, but I really don’t believe that that’s enough. Her performance was amazing don’t Get me wrong, but like after I saw Camillas I was blown away. It really made me a fan. That’s how good it was. While Melissas made me acknowledge the fact that she’s a great singer? Therefore Camilla deserved the nummer 1 while Melissa 2 even though it was a rank 1 worthy performance. Camilla stole the show with her charms shining though her vocals. Why do you believe Melissa should have gotten number 1, did you feel opposite from me while watching

Camila really blew me away. It's amazing how much she improved in under a couple of weeks at the time. Savannah also shocked me too. I feel like with more vocal training, she could become a better vocalist.

I love how Cristina was dancing 19:51, 20:12 and smiling during Camila's performance, and then she was the first to get up from the chairs, she made me smile with her. And also CaMILAAA GIRLLLLLLL, you are a shining star!! I'm really rooting for you :)

I didn't really notice Gina's talent on previous episodes but her singing is really good! She is only a year older than Kaylee yet she's so mature and talented! I'm rooting for her from now and hope she debuts! So far my favourites are Lexus, KG, Camila and Gina!

I enjoyed your channel and subscribed there, too. I am in a different situation from you~Im korean American, living all my life in the usa (from socal), i am currently living in korea for the time being. Somehow i miss the usa reading this! But i really like it here, too. It is fun watching a2k: an american group formed in a kpop system. It's really interesting seeing American culture in this setting! I can't wait to see a2k's debut stage, too!

So 2nd generation Koreans feel hard to have cultural gaps between America with Korea. Especially these days K-Pop is very well-known. So I introduce K-pop music to my sons and my sons are also proud of their father's culture. Same wise I am happy to see JYP's A2K Project. Because this program is K-pop music for American people. I am really proud can seek-pop's development. And I really enjoy seeing this program.

@@huaeriyes shes 13 but shes also trained for almost a year while kaylee has had zero training or teachers.. she states first eps that she only got a teacher a week before the auditions, also based on gina’s face i’m lowkey not sure but she’s probably got a late bday and turned 14 a bit after a2k, that part is js my assumption tho 😭

She seems like a nice person with positive energy but she also has very marketable looks in the kpop industry. She will be very popular both in the west and the east. I think she will make it as long as she isn't too terrible in singing and dancing. At the end of the day it is the entertainment industry and the right looks/personality package can get you far.

I like that Savanna didnt force herself to sing that high as she said it strains her vocals and find ways to sing it her style comfortably because she doesnt know yet proper way to sing while not strain her voice but being in a kpop group you cant just suddenly lower the note when its your turn in singing in a group, many groups still struggling with this as not everyone in group always are capable of maintaining high notes

A lot of the girls have strength in one field and it shows. Jyp knows this Thts why he knows in their weaker side he expects them to be in moderation or At least show improvement. Camilla really showed improvement in her dancing and she became more precise. And vocally which is her strength she expanded so much more. Definitely the ace

12:20 - 14:33 I love it when JYP goes the extra mile to help contestants improve. Judging shouldn't be about putting people down. A little bit of teaching here and there can make a huge positive difference in someone's life. Regardless of whether the ladies make it into A2K or not, they are all going to take away something valuable from this experience.

Agreed. Most of them probably don't have formal vocal training. So even something basic like talking about breathing and diaphragm control can make a big difference for a novice singer.

@@roter13 I don't think that's it. It's more that he's known as "just a CEO" or whatever, he hasn't really shown this side of himself much in the recent years. He's extremely attentive and knows what he's doing when it comes to singing, which really shows here. I personally remember him from Sixteen, where he felt a lot more stiff and would give odd comments, and his awkward performances as an artist himself lol. So this is definitely a different side to him.

He was a judge for LOUD survival show (JYP featuring Pnation for both companies new bg) in 2021. He also judge for Nizi Project in 2019-2020 for JYPE Japanese girl group. And now they airing Nizi Project season 2 for Japanese Boy Group along with A2K for American Girl Group. This program (A2K) is basically Nizi Project American version since the format is exactly the same (they gave the contestants pendant and filled it with 4 stones). He did shown this side of him always every years since JYPE keep debuting new group 😅 but yeah, only people who follow him/his company plan will know.

Good job and congrats to the girls who got their stones. But I really want to point out Savannah!!! Not a lot of people realize but she a certain depth and uniqueness to her tone. Give her enough time to develop proper techniques and skills and soon enough she will surprise the whole world. Her tone in my opinion gives her the possibility of hitting the highest notes among the contestants, and she's got the stamina and the core power to do it. Really excited for her.

One thing about Christina is she will support each trainee even when she gets a negative comment she doesn't hesitate to check on the other trainees and talk to them giving me leader vibes, Camilla was amazing super amazing I didn't expect her to be this good. Also, I will give a round of applause to Savannah she tried the only thing she needs it's confidence which I think it's will come soon if she put the same confidence in her dancing into her singing she will easily be in the top 7. I really hope that the trainees that i like make it in the final lineup

I actually really love the way Savanna tackled the difficult song. She's not the strongest singer but the way she floated on that first high note was really nice and I think she adjusted a little bit. I agree she's going to be a wonderful singer with some proper training and confidence. The effort that she put in is really obvious. Im excited for her future.

Cristina has such a bright energy. You can definitely feel how she enjoys being there and how she enjoy seeing other contestants perform. And Gina seems older. You can feel the pressure on her but she is so good! It will be so nice to see her evolve, be feee while performing! Camilla and Melissa were so great.

I really appreciate how they don't show the a lot of the performances that didn't earn a stone. They show enough that we understand why, but don't make it to where it's trying to embarrass them. They are just kids and I feel that it's respectful to them to not try to embarrass or make them feel bad about not being able to do their best that day.

YES, exactly this! Some people complain about little air time but it's to protect them and NOT embarrass them. This is the way to go and JYP has this right.

same reason why we didn't see anyone get rejected from the regional auditions. The 2 we saw in episode 3 actually made it but they couldn't sign the contract for whatever reason.. If they go to Korea they have to have a guardian with them for the first 3 months I believe and not every parents can afford that so maybe that's why.

I’m SO excited for the next round of their own special performances. I can tell by the preview that Lexus will be doing ballet showcasing her original built up skills - this just means she can dance delicately and harder like the stray kids dance. Yuna is finally going to get to shine with her own unique talent on display, and I really hope for Mischa’s success too. We get to see their own talent and personality woohoo!!

Savanna actually has the voice. Even with no training at all. Her medium to lower tone is actually pretty nice. Of course with training to polish her notes and voice, I also have no doubt she is going to be a great singer and rapper too.

Honestly, Mischa was actually better at singing than Kaycee and Kendall. She's more stable in her singing. I feel bad that she didn't receive the singing stone because JYP did not like the way she changed the song. While he's so gracious when it comes to others.

I was very impressed with Camila and Melissa with the vocals and I hope Gina remembers why she’s been training so hard.
