Hey BeKind! You're too kind 😆. I do put in some time to research the whiskey before I do a review video on it. My thoughts are that history and the story of both the whiskey and the creator (blender, master distiller, etc.) all is a part of the "experience" of that bottle. Just like in other industries (cars, watches, etc.). I'm very "to the point" as I'm not very witty nor funny so I just "get the job done" 🤣. When I edit, I do cut out some of my "tasting" or "nosing" as it is kind of boring to watch. I don't say anything funny and my facial expression is... not pretty to watch 😂. Hey Michael! The Bourbon Judge did an awesome job with the interview and I will need to go back to the video to see the entire thing as I was on and off the stream. I hope Jason can pull off doing more barrels and batches without losing the quality that I loved about Batch 7 and some of the batches before that (with samples). Without factoring in cost or allocation, the absolute perfect bourbon I ever had was William LaRue Weller 2019, I believe. Just a gorgeous whiskey. Whiskeys close to that was Old Carter American whiskey batch 2, George T Stagg 2014, and Four Roses Limited 2023 (135th), and Russell's Reserve Single Rick House Camp Nelson F. But keep in mind I haven't had any King of Kentucky or other rarer BTACs. I also haven't had many limited Booker's or other ones people considered great. If you want to look at a list that more "obtainable", watch my Top 5 whiskeys of 2023 and Top 5 Value whiskeys of 2023 and it'll give you a list of bottles that easier to find. By the way, I did pick up a bottle of the Murray Hill Club per your recommendation and have had two pours so far. I'll have to spend a little more time with it, but wow - is it good! I can already tell it is going to be one of my new favorites.

@@WhiskeyBank i had batch 6. I felt the finish was short. I like finishes that stick with ya a little. It wasn’t very flavorful. It had a few simple traditional notes.
