Nothing makes me happier than people reacting to TVXQ as 5 members! I loved the video :)

When they got a debut in 2003/2004, JJ (Jaejoong) was known as the main vocalist of TVXQ. But, Junsu was more noticed for his vocal ability, high note and unique tone. I think JJ' vocal became focused after TVXQ started the carrer in Japan in 2005. In TVXQ's Japanese songs, it is obvious that JJ is singing as the main vocalist throughout the song. In their Korean songs, JJ doesn't get much lines but sang supporting other members as main vocalist like in the chorus where everyone sang together. It might be hard to agree when we hear studio version but when you hear the live version (concerts), you'll understand what I mean.

What's best about them is that everything you hear in their albums, they can sing those songs perfectly in their concerts.

You're doing a great reaction to the album. DBSK5 are a legendary group, one of the pioneers in the expansion of K-pop. Five very different voices that complement each other and make a great harmony together. Main vocalist is Jaejoong. Check out their performance at the Live at Soul Power Tokyo Summit 2007! There, one of the songs is "Love in the Ice" in its original Japanese version. Their most difficult song is "Tonight" from their second Korean album. Their best acapella is "Whatever they say". Their most iconic Japanese songs are "Begin" and "Why did i fall in love with you". But a real showcase for their talent and class is their "Secret Code" concert, which you can find on KZfaq.

TVXQ debuted as an acapella dance group so, in some sense, they're all main vocal in their own voice position and they all also can dance pretty well. This group is better in live performance. The emotional and live band in their Japanese concert is a chef's kiss! So if you have a chance, please check out their live performances.

I still remember listening to a preview of their debut in 2004 on BoA’s website. From primary school to being a career woman now, you’ve just unleashed a flood of memories for me! TVXQ is god of Kpop. Actually, they‘re all main vocals, which makes them so special in Kpop. It makes no sense to distinguish main vocal or lead vocal or rapper in this group, cause they all have so much talent. TVXQ is the best vocal group in whole Kpop ever, and the most important thing is they know how to blend their voices to make songs better, instead of just showing someone’s skills. Nowadays in most Kpop groups each member has their own division or role, but TVXQ debuted as a Acappella group, they don’t have these specific distinctions, they just distinguish tenor baritone and bass. I have been a Cassiopeia (their fandom’s name) for 17 years and a ReVeluv for 9 years, so glad to see you react to my favorite groups of alltime. Thanks for your reactions.❤

Ot5 has a grip on me. I started following them around 2004/05 and it still persists. I love them so much.

The last song 'Love in the Ice' Tokyo dome performance is rather famous. Maybe you've heard it before? Also the group is known as DBSK (Dong bang Shin ki) in Korean. And Tohoshinki in Japanese.

you'll love their live performances bc it's way much better than the recording 😂 sometimes they can bring the track livelier. main vocal was jaejoong lead vocal + lead dancer was junsu high note specialist vocalist was changmin main rapper was yoochun main dancer + rapper was yunho but each of them had rap part and highnote. the highest highnote (headvoice) in love in the ice was belong to yoochun, the main rapper.

"Don't Cry My Lover" was written by Jaejoong and "Love Bye Love" by Micky Yoochun.

So many memories!!!!! This is their last album as 5 I believe, and till this day one of my favorites of theirs. Every single song pulls a string of my heart! Thank you for reacting ❤

"Who is the main vocalist of TVXQ?" Sure is hard to answer. Objectively ranking, 1. Junsu 2. Jaejoong 3. Changmin 4. Yunho 5. Yoochun Btw Junsu is a musical actor and Jaejoong has his own solo rock album. If you like Rock/Ballad, you should check both of them individually

Seeing how much you loved Love in the Ice, I feel that you might want to have a look at some of their Japanese songs. Love in the Ice was originally on their Japanese album before they did the Korean version for Mirotic and you might also like Bolero since you loved this one.

From what I remember back in the day, groups didn't have official roles like they do nowadays. Jaejoong and Junsu were the main vocalists in practice, but if you had to pick only one main vocalist, it would probably be Jaejoong.

Hello, this is the first time I see your videos, and I really liked that you will be interested in DBSK or also known as TVXQ, but you have to see the song BOLERO, TONIGHT, BEGIN, ANGEL, TRIANGLE, in concert It's in concert where you hear it better, and they make some changes, but really thank you for being interested in it, and regarding LOVE IN THE ICE, many current groups have covered them and that's where you could hear it, and regarding who is the main voice, you could say that it is between JUNSU and JAEJOONG, and that YOOCHUN and JUNHO were the ones who performed the rap, and of course CHANGMIN who performed the high notes, this is supposedly established by the company, but when listening to their songs it is very difficult to see what is structured in this way, since they do not do it.They marked, or rather they didn't have it so much in mind, that's why in their other songs that you may hear, maybe someone comes out rapping or making high notes or being the main voice in that song, so it's unexpected,😊Maybe if you decide to see concerts it would be great😊

Sweet baby Jesus, my OG loves TVXQ! I loved this album so much when it came out. Takes me back to my college days humming and singing among to this album while i was pulling all-nighters in the library! To this day, I personally think they're still the most cohesive and well-rounded group SM ever debuted. And to think of the many other amazing SM artists that came after them, who grew up watching them and learned from them.

wow, thanks for the reaction! I liked it very much. ♥ At that time, TVXQ sang a lot of ballads and similar songs. They also performed with them at shows/awards and concerts. So on their albums (and in general) they have a lot of ballads. They also sang a cappella. Just like they were meant to be, like an a cappella pop boy band and all that. Their vocals were their main weapon. xd In fact, I wouldn't say there is one "main" vocalist. The main/lead vocalists were Junsu and Jaejoong. Then Changmin, then Yunho and Yoochun. Usually Yunho and Yoochun have rap parts. Jaejoong doesn't have much rap and he's not a rapper at all (although I like it when he does it. So catchy haha) It's a pity that the world and people around them were cruel back then and they had to go their separate ways (a huge loss imho), but (!) they are still active and have excellent work of their own. i miss harmonies and ad-libs like this in kpop. they're still the best kpop boy group vocally. haven't heard any other kpop groups sing like them. they actually debuted as an acapella group, so vocals are their specialty even though they can still dance well

You need to check out TVXQ Killing Voice and Xia Junsu Killing Voice. And you should check out Junsu's Flower if you want to listen harp in a kpop song :) The official main vocalist of TVXQ was Jaejoong but most people think it's Junsu because he was more popular as a vocalist. Junsu used to got the most lines in their Korean songs while Jaejoong used to got the most lines in their Japanese songs. I think its better to say both of them were the main vocalists. Changmin was a sub-vocalist who is responsible of the high notes at first. He became the main vocalist officially after the separation.

Btw, recenty Super Junior LSS (subunit of Suju's Leeteuk, Shindong and Siwon) did a cover of Love in The Ice. They are not in vocal line, interestingly.

The only vocal group I can prefer over Exo. Ot5 TVXQ were just unbeatable and their music is so amazing even after so many years. Mirotic is a masterpiece ❤

loved it please react more to their ot5 songs/albums and jyj songs and their solos.all of them have really unique voices but especially junsu, jaejoong and yoochun are more known for their unique vocals. jaejoong was the main vocalist, junsu lead vocalist and changmin sub vocalist, yoochun and yunho pretty much did every positions and jaejoong is the melody, junsu mid high, changmin highest , yunho lowest, yoochun mid low this is their position when they do acapella. beside that junsu was also known as the dance king. i recommend jaejoong for you and footstep live stage.

people always confused the main vocal one is that junsu and jaejoong but actually jaejoong is the main vocal and junsu is lead yet junsu tone and vocal color always dominated the song, and yess! love in the ice is actually covered by several idols and used in vocal competition
