I just tried this about an hour ago. I have a leaking head gasket. After about 20 minutes of idling, the white smoke was gone, and the bubbles in the reservoir stopped entirely. We'll see how long it holds. Very impressed so far.

Wow this stuff is truly a life saver it took a while longer to work but it definitely stopped my coolant leak and overheating in about 30 min on my 98 318i bmw and I gotta say it’s worth every penny 💯💯💯💯💯

So far so good, I had a small leak in my KW's radiator. I went to Walmart, bought five bottles of premix coolant and two bottles each being 8 oz of k seal which is recommended for a heavy duty vehicle. So far I've driven roughly 200 miles with no leaks. I'm still going to get a radiator, but if the $30 I spent on the two bottles gets me to my destination and back home it all would have been worth it.

I'm a Dodge Tech and it is well known in the shop that these stop leak things are B.S. However, I never tried it. Sure enough, my Jeep developed a very slow leak in the radiator a day before I was meant to go on a pre-reserved vacation... Tried K-seal and it stopped the leak like it said it would!

So far has worked for me 06 Dodge Durango was leaking near water pump. Was dumping coolant then I put the K seal and so far saving me from water pump replacement no coolant lost

Had a suspected blown head gasket. And i believe a pin hole in the top of the radiator. Poured in 1 bottle and ive driven 100 miles. So far the car is not running hot, im in disbelief. Amazing product.

How is it holding up? I put this stuff into an old beater truck with 311k miles on it. After about 25 minutes the gasket was fully sealed. This was several days ago, and it's holding perfectly so far. It seems to be the real deal.

So when I get the K Seal, do i actually dump it into the coolant reservoir, and that's it? My coolant reservoir is entirely empty, and is draining now almost completely in a matter of hours.

It worked for me. Had an intake manifold gasket leak on my Mercury Grand Marquis and coolant was leaking out. Now after using an entire small bottle of K Seal no more leaks. Hope the seal holds in the long term🙂

I know this is old but, I have the same leak, the metal housing for the thermostat on the manifold is leaking around the bottom decent, will this seal up that rusted manifold?

I used this on my 2006 town and country back in 2012 had an intake gasket pouring antifreeze under the coil pack it stopped within minutes of getting to operating temp and drove it from from Ohio to myrtle Beach and back with zero issues I HIGHLY recommend this product to everyone I talk to that has any issues!!!

I am about to use this product for the first time on a 1995 Ford F150 with a little over 300000 miles on it to repair a radiator tank leak.All the positive reviews and word of mouth convinced me to try this product before replacing the radiator. I will post the results after.

Engine overheated, and light came on, diag reader said I had an evap issue and a miss in the #8 cyl of my 2005 dodge ram 4.7. I poured k-seal in the reservoir with the engine cold and idled till it warmed up. The engine acted like it was going to overheat, then the temperature gauge went down to normal temperature. I completed another engine scan with the Diag and there are no engine codes now and the diagnostic says the engine is running fine.

Jus used some of this on my 2013 Dodge Charger . Had a leak under my water pump . Shaked it up , poured it then added more coolant . It did seal actually 👍🏽. Wonder how long it’s gone hold up tho

@@ibberman That probably is the most genius(at least very important) instructions that are missing from this product! You should seriously contact the company about that, I'd imagine the long-term positive reviews would be very beneficial to the company, as it does sound like an obvious proper usage for a product like this and should be all means work out way better than not doing this method!!!

Today Jan 30th 2022 Sunday . My car blew head gasket. Its getting blow bye coming out the dip stick tube . i was driving it and just before i got a block away from home it stalled and i had to keep giving it gas to make it home. Any im assuming its fowling out the plugs from eternal in the motor. So the car is all we have and not worth tearing it down out in the freezing cold here in Michigan . SO im going to be buying this some time today or in the morning.

Ok , so i use k seal because i thought inhad a radiator problem suv kept over heating first day it last for up to 8 hrs i drive all day thant the vehicle started overheating again was told by a mechanic tobuse two bottles i only use one next day i go back and get another works for about 3 hrs but it did somthing fantastic in that 3 hrs...it found a hole in my uper radiator air vent line and expanded it to the point that it was obvious it was leaking was able to buy the parts i needed yank it out and replace problem solve no more leaks suc driving perfect...so i guess its great for finding leaks in lines also..cant believe i didnt find it a month aho when i trace them

I have a 08 Audi a4 Quattro 3.2 sline. We are going to try this tonight. I’m either leaking from water pump or a plastic assembly right next to water pump. Unfortunately we have to take off the whole front end and we don’t wanna do that right now. So I’ll keep up dated!

So usually I don’t believe in this kinda stuff! But I work commercial at a O’Reilly and my customers buy it a lot. So I said okay I’ll try it! Not one leak! It stopped! Now I have actually replaced water pump and the plastic piece but it worked amazing for me! I was surprised not going to lie lol

I was hesitant to use it on 2012 CLS550 4matic that I just bought week ago yesterday noticed the ground has about foot size what seems to be coolant it blue looked under non of the major hozzez leaking but there was one line covered in plastic bolted to the front lower side of the engine that coolant slightly slide from the top slowly I even squeezed it it’s seems to be rubber hoz not aluminium so checked the coolant it was lower than usual I lost about 10 or 8 ounces so I just bout this K seal today thinking ok let’s hope this fix it and having this car adding this sparkly bronze little things look like sparkling chocolate milk 😂 so I shake it for min and added started the car for long time even tho it’s says work 3 min but I let run way longer with reservoir cap open and slowly let it warm up then went under and squeezed to let air bubbles out after warm up I put heat on max looked for more bubbles rev it for bit closed the system went car wash looked again drove earlier for an hour came back checked no leaks everything seems works just fine I believe that K seal worked for me be advised the car has 196k miles but well taken care off I do believe this k seal fix it

I had a Toyota celica gts 00, and it had a blown head gasket so my dad drained the coolant flushed it and than drove it and still overheated so he put bars leak in it and did it again and still leaked, but one day he drive it 100 mph and somehow it stopped leaking. I guess it took awhile for it to circulate. I've been driving it fine ever since at 55mph only. So u saved like 3,000 dollars with barsleak to seal up my head gasket, or gaskets who knows which one it was, but I trust these products and they really do work like they say so I'm going to drive down to Walmart and give this a shot for my Buick park Avenue. I will update this reply if it sealed the leak. It's a pretty bad leak lmao... so let's see....it eventually sealed it, it took two bottles of the stop leak!

Blue devil pour and go, my car's plugs in two cylinders were keep getting damage and the cooling system was over pressurising, Plugs were damaged just within five minutes after starting. I used blue devil pour and go, It needs only five minutes, thin like water so can be left in the cooling system for safety.

lasted about 2-3 weeks on my car & that was driving conservatively at less than 2000rpm. How these crooks can claim "permanent repair" & not be charged with false & deceptive claims is beyond me

I've had it in my car for 3 weeks and I redline it, no issue so far and I had a very bad headgasket leak. 🤷‍♂️ I don't know if it's permanent fix or not but it's cheaper than a rental.

Depends on how much of a greater damage you caused by driving it without adding K-Seal. The key is you have to do it before the problem gets bigger

Yes. Pour this in with coolant until you hit the fill line. When the car reaches operational temperature, the coolant pump will start and the coolant will actually start flowing. Top off with coolant as needed for a few minutes.

@versuswar1 not really. Was told it's not a good idea so I can't say for sure if it would work or not. Car ended up breaking down. Had to get engine replacement. Luckily ford covered the whole thing through their customer satisfaction program.

@@Cleo.T After 1 month I’d say it definitely worked (for the most part & for the price)… last weekend it started to overheat and go to CLOSE to the red line again. It’d bounce between the middle and close to the red. After a few days it went back to normal operating temp. This also happened 1 day about 2 weeks after I put it in but it only lasted a day. I did add more antifreeze Directly to the radiator the 2nd time it happened.

yes to dilute it. its not good to pour directly into radiator without being diluted first because there's a chance it may bunch up in one area.

I perged my radiator and all of the k seal that was stuck in the resevuare circulated and now it's not leaking , then my heater coar had a blockage so I purged all of my coolant and it's been fine since , hopefully it remains so

If it's just a water hose,why not just fix it. A whole lot easier and cheaper than a blown head or head gasket.my 2001 expedition 4.6 is starting to run hot so now I have to give it a try,you're lucky if it's just your water hose. Just change all your coolant hoses and you should be good.

Just fixed water hose you damaged it to severely before you even thought of using K-Seal. K-Seal is used for small fine cracks and holes. Not if it’s way past stage 1. I had that issue on my 1989 Silverado but acted too late after everything was boiling and shooting coolant all over the engine and getting into exhaust leaving heavily white smoke that killed a very good engine being so old. When it’s at stage 2-3 then it’s no use buying K-Seal. It’s only when leakage can barely be seen that’s when you use it. Decide in long run do you want to get replacement parts or get different vehicle

Don’t use this stuff, or any coolant sealant. Just replace the part that’s leaking; usually it’ll be something minor like a hose and shouldn’t cost much to actually fix the problem. These sealants are essentially glue that hardens when it comes into contact with air. It might be fine for a while, but you’ve basically just poured glue into your coolant system that runs through your entire engine. If there are any air pockets in your system then you run the risk of damaging your engine. Would you pour glue or cement down your kitchen sink if you had a leak in your house?

I think I made a mistake, I put the k seal in when the engine was cold, then I went for a drive to bring it up to heat. instead of just letting it idle to get up to heat. not sure if it worked. does anyone know if it matters that I drove it to bring it to the temperature?

They’re inconsistent on their instructions. They say you can add cold or hot. They say let it idle or drive. Then the detailed instructions online tell you to warm up car then add then let idle for 30 minutes.

This is for the engine radiator coolant system, the heat exchanger for the engine! Your AC in your car has nothing to do with it. You must have a large crack somewhere!

@@carlrobinson2338 often using AC will cause overheating because the condenser sits in front of the radiator & both being hot makes coolant much hotter because fans are working to cool both the radiator & condenser.

Wish i saw this earlier, literally right after using it, my engine wont start. 5.4 L V8 engine🤦‍♂️, everywhere on the internet is good positive comments and not one negative so i was already skeptical

as a lesbian in a mans body I was able to think about using this and plan to maybe purchase though im a hundred percent sure as i first need to purchase a car with faulty water pump

warning what you put your radiator it will lead up in your engine and cause more problems

Thats for Head gaskets K-Seal says for Coolant leaks and can be used for Gasket but it looks like it more advertised for Coolant leaks. I see more positive feedback on it. Your comment is the only negative one lol.
