Chendhoor turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Chendhoor chilli powder 1 tsp
Chendhoor jeera powder 1 tsp
Chendhoor pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Tamarind small lemon sized
Mustard 1 tsp
Urad dhal 1/2 tsp
Chana dhal 1 tbsp
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
Groundnut oil 3 tbsp
Enough salt

Definitely this is not kattuchoru. It may be Karaikal one pot dish. Kattuchoru is a traditional dish in Tirunelveli district. Kattuchoru is definitely puli rice without coconut milk and onion. It is tied in the cloth and taken out for travelling. That is why it is called kattuchoru. In this hot weather kattuchoru stays longer for travelling. Adding coconut milk and onion spoil the rice while travelling.. My grandma used to make it. Mouthwatering traditional dish eaten with boiled eggs. I still remember opening the tied cotton cloth seeing the rice as a ball. Modern KZfaqrs make it up as they go.

Is this prestige induction based stainless steel cooker? Does it sticks on the bottom when cooking in gas stove? I have butterfly it always sticks though the bottom is very heavy. Please reply.
