120 lbs is way WAY out of standard for a GSD. Its either REALLY fat or poorly bred. A big male GSD should still be no more than 90-95lbs in good condition.

This scene provided a lesson. Don't fuck with a Police dog like Jerry Lee. I actually have a German Shepard named Jerry Lee, best friend in the world, we sat on the couch last night watching this movie. I'm 20 years old and my Mom got him when I was 18. Took me a while to get him to like me as he was SUCH a little shit. But after a good run at the park, playing fetch and dog games, we created a bond. One day, I ran into a Staffie that was off the leash and it was violent and came at me so I had to run. Then comes Jerry to tackle the staffie and the two of them fought before the staffie's owner came and pulled his dog away. I hugged my dog closely because if it wasn't for him...I could've lost a limb to a staffie's lockjaw tactic.

Yes they are little shits, they dont call them landsharks for nothing. I have one as well, he's almost 2 and I know he would give his life for anyone of my kids and wife and I. And as for the pitbull lockjaw myth, its a false. No dog can actually lock there jaw but pits do have a high prey/game drive and its there tenacity that keeps them holding on but glad to hear that your pupper didn't back down and this breed has such an emotional bond with its human. Your pupper just proved the love and loyalty that is unmatched in my opinion by any other breed out there. I solute all gsd owners

If you think a Martial Artist named Bruce Lee who was known for punches and kicks has any sort of connection whether perceived or otherwise with a doggo named Jerry Lee Lewis which fictionally used its teeth to fictionally defend its partner, then you're more of a halfwit than originally thought. Oh and dickhead the clue might be in the movie where we learn the dogs name oh and also in this clip where he states "that is officer Lewis"... bit difficult for a dickhead like you to comprehend but there we go...

This movie makes me miss my german/Aussie Shepard mix named beast. I was little then, about 7 and my sister had a collie/lab named beauty. The name choice was obvious. Hw was such a playful cuddle buddy. Miss you beast. You're always missed.

@@juneclark4267 The dog was played by more than one dog, maybe he owned one of them, but it wasn't just one dog. The main actor was a German bred dog named Rando who was in training to become a police k-9, he was instead trained by an American trainer once he arrived in the states so that he would understand commands in English. He was not owned by Belushi, he was owned by Gail Mooring.

I like this scene a lot but even as a kid I thought it was unrealistic that these thugs don’t take a K-9 serious at first. These dogs are highly intelligent animals, trained to protect their owner and catch criminals. They all act like they’re not familiar with the concept of a police dog.
