It is true that Valmiki Ramayana mentions about Rama, Lakshmana and Seeta ate meat during their stay in forest. To quote V. Ramayana "Having hunted there four deer, namely Varaaha, Rishya, Prisata; and Mahaaruru (the four principal species of deer) and quickly taking the portions that were pure, being hungry as they were, Rama and Lakshman reached a tree to take rest in the evening". Valmiki Ramayana, 2-52-102 Only when Sita was abducted by Ravana , he stopped eating non veg due to the sorrow.. Hanuman statement to Sita. “Rama is not eating meat, nor indulging even in spirituous liquor. Everyday, in the evening, he is eating the food existing in the forest, well arranged for him.” Valmiki Ramayana, 5-36-41 It might be shocking to know that every community ate non veg one time or other..After Mahaveera and Budhdha( Jainism and Buddhism) only vegetarianism became famous..

He supports ராமானுஜர் because he is from Iyengar group. I have seen in many times he is unable to come out of his Vaishanava mode.( He talks about only Alwar creations as Pramana grandhams not even one Saiva book). Most of the Iyengar group is similar to Muslims in strictly following their beliefs..

My post was only to answer to SK that why DS always boosts Vaishanava சம்பிரதாயம். The answer is because he is an Iyenger ( Vadakalai) so it is logical for him to boost Ramanuja's விசிஷ்டாத்வைதம் at the expense of அத்வைதம்.( Since Ramanuja found problems with அத்வைதம்). Smartha Brahmins pray to all Gods including Siva and Vishnu. Only Vaishnavaites ( here also few follow both) are strict in following Vishnu( Narayanan). That too in Vadakalai both Narayanan and Lakshmi are allowed and in தென்கலை only Narayanan is allowed. There were some shortcomings found by Madhwacharya in both அத்வைதம் and விசிஷ்டாத்வைதம் so he proposed Dvaidham theory. Remember for common people these theories donot matter. Whenever somebody is in open media like KZfaq there will be always criticisms. Dushyandh Sridhar's problem is that he confines himself in Vaishnava சம்பிரதாயம் ( that too only Vadakalai) which makes him nothing exceptional.. Only thing is he would not havebecome popular if he had continued his engineering career after BITS..

@@kvs6830 I mentioned sk anna only why he used that word twerp. Being an educated person these kind of words can be avoided arguments should be healthy and knowledgeable. You mentioned about ds know not only he everyone will try to stick to their philosophy , dharma only. That's why I told all of them should change try to read vallalar s quotes he clearly mentioned who is God and how will he be. If we understand his quotes there won't be any differences don't know why our guru's, acharyas have hide the original status of God. If we have clear knowledge about the almighty how wonderful our relations will be.
