Proud to be an Indian. Feeling happy that the fuel taxes and CGST we pay are being utilized for projects like Vikrant ship, Rafel fighters, Chandrayan etc. But the sad thing is that SGST (Kerala tax) is being used only for salary n pension (Including 500 personal staffs in every 5 years in Kerala). We can never find a supporting juster from our state govt by developing n promoting local industries to support the projects like this.

really we r proud now India get fully confident to make warship and other heavy ship, if we calculate purchase this ship from abourd our rbi big dollar will empt, but we r safe, need to give more order central govt to cochin shipyard and govt expant business more country like USA, rushia, China, France, Germany,

Work on the ship's design began in 1999, and the keel was laid in February 2009. The carrier was floated out of its dry dock on 29 December 2011 and was launched on 12 August 2013.The basin trials were completed in December 2020,and the ship started sea trials in August 2021. Commissioning ceremony was held on 2 September 2022.Flight trials of aircraft expected to be completed by mid-2023. The total cost of the project was approximately ₹23,000 crore (US$2.9 billion) at the time of first sea trials
