7 жыл бұрынKaashi Arts' Pandit Sanju Sahai ji playing a solo on the final day of the Sankat Mochan Temple Festival in 2016 (Benares, India).
Here is part 1 of his wonderful solo that evening which left members of the audience completely thrilled!
Uthan, Benaresi Theka, Baant - all unique to Benaresi Tabla and especially in the early stage of Benaresi Tabla solo's.
Pandit ji is the living descendent and 6th generation of Benaresi Tabla players, hailing directly from Pandit Ram Sahai ji, the founder of the Benares style of Tabla playing.
Pandit ji has been an international performer for over 30 years and is considered to be one of the greatest Tabla players alive today.
Accompanied here by the fantastic Pandit Dharamnath Mishra ji on Harmonium.

Panditji's style of playing tabla is unique and is an experience not to be forgotten soon by anyone witnessing. What an accompaniment on the harmonium. Regard to pandit Mishraji.

Baya =sound=poor=mixing because of distractions of sound presentation remained less interesting. Awesome playing.

Looks like they used a cheaper shotgun mic. Not something like an sm57. Perhaps a condenser would have been better.
