Once in a while in very small amount is okay but try feeding on a large tile or hay to avoid ingesting soil to prevent any impaction.

Din me at least 15-20 minutes dhoop milni chahie pan kyu ki abhi garmiya hai, kachhue to khud ko decide karne de ki wo sunlight me rehna chahta hai ya nahi, is ke liye outdoors enclosure me rakhna sab se accha upay hai.

First of all, I really appreciate you observing them well and doing what is right for the tortoises. You can make the enclosure on the terrace but should be aware of predators like eagles, crows and other scavenger birds. Make sure the tortoises have enough hiding spots to stay protected from predators and from harsh sunlight too. Skin agar bahot dry ho to bhi esa hota hai, tortoise ko humidity chahie thodi. Ya fir eyes me infection ho tab bhi aspas skin white ho jati hai, aap ek bar koi acche anubhavi doctor ko dikha dijiye.

Hii , my tortoise also have same problem and I consulted many vets, they all gave me vitamins and calcium and told me to provide UVB light but no help at all. After some days I noticed that the white skin disappeared and got normal again. According to my experience the white skin around eyes and head is due to dehydration and hot climate. In every summers my tortoise have this problem and when rainy or winter season comes the white skin gets normal automatically. Systoms my tortoise have: 1:) loss of appetite and not eating anything. 2:) white skin like white powder around eyes and head. 3:) water coming from eyes. 4:) lack of movement or locomotive, lack of activities. 5:) always hide and sleep 6:) my tortoise was very confused and stressed and roaming here and there, The tortoise run in the whole house and find a cool place to hide and shelter. All these symptoms but vets are not specialised in tortoise, they all are only expertise in cats and dogs. They do not have knowledge about exotic animals. Those days were very hard for me and I was stressed because my tortoise was not eating and I knocked every vet/doctor door for help. I also read many articles about tortoises on internet. Sach batau to mene kabhi exam me itni padhai nhi kri jitni study mene tortoise ke baare me kri internet par. After a lot of research and experience I came to know that it is happening because of hot climate and dehydration as this problem happens in summers. I suggest you to please give the tortoise proper hydration and soak in water also give them variety of foods. Disclaimer: I am not a vet or a expert. I am sharing my personal experience I had. These problems I mentioned can also occur because of many cases: 1:)The water coming from eyes can be because eye infection or vitamin a defeciency. 2:) The skin can also become white because of shell rot or shell infection. 3:) The tortoise also do not eat when they are stressed. Etc. I suggest you to give proper hydration and soak the tortoise in moderate/normal temperature water 2-3 times for 10 minutes everyday in summers. Try giving bhindi without seeds and soak in shallow lukewarm water while keeping water level below jaw. Gently brush around tail and shell with a soft toothbrush.
