Classic example of Prabhu believing anyone can dance. Initial idea was to just have leads to dance but since dad was part of the scene prabhu wanted SPB to dance Rahman also came up slow beats. But nobody had the balls to say this to SPB until the day of the shoot, SPB warned Prabhu that he is going to ruin a good song. SPB is a respected father figure and to make him do this, hats off to Prabhu.

Prabhudeva is lucky to have the legendary SP Balasubramanium sir acted and danced with him. Prabhdeva is great, but SP sir is legend. No one can dance like Prabhudeva, similarly, no one can sing better than SP sir. Respect

BALA SUBRAHMANYAM, popularly known as SPB, a legendary singer, composer, actor, producer, that India has ever produced. 50 years of long standing career, more than 45,000 recorded songs in 18 Indian languages. He is not a poor guy my friend. He lives forever in Indian music and cinema.

A must have song for a 90s kid.. I used to keep listening to the songs of this album..actually still do being a huge Arr fan. The gentleman dancing alongside Prabhudeva ji is the legendary singer SP Balasubramaniam ji. This album also had some iconic songs. Especially Mukkala Mukabla!!

This song is so beautiful, classy and way ahead of the time, interms of music by legendary ARR, dance by legendary PD, classic sets and of course beautiful Nagma who is super co dancer. I think she has done great justice to her character in the dance sequences as a dance partner. Whenever I listen to this I'll get nostalgia. In those times when I was in class 9th great thing happened 1. Jurassic park, 2. Premikudu songs ( Kadalan in Tamil).

There was a time when on Michael's bday VH1 would play Michael's video for like straight 48 hours and I would watch 'em all again and again and again and each time my awe for him would increase....same thing is with Prabhu Deva ... his creativity is beyond expectations and I can watch him all day long ... in 90's as young teenagers we would just watch his movies in theatre just for the songs ie to see his dance. No other expectation from the movie

As a Bengali, we grew up listening to the Hindi dubbed version of this song "Premika ne Pyar se". This song was brought to me many years back after I first listened to it by Piyush Bhagat, a fabulous dancer than on the dance reality show Dance+ where he performed on this song in front of Prabhu Sir. He did a wonderful job.
