That size tin might be better suited to a belt pouch. Roomy enough to add a good multitool or Swiss Army knife and some shelter items. Kaeser kits come in a myriad of styles and containers and are decently-priced for individually assembled kits. Thanks for another great review!

Thank you for the comment I appreciate it. It seems like the kits are pretty good if I can find more I will check them out! I want to get a few belt pouches for these kits to show them and carry them around in! Definitely a Swiss classic sd I would like to fit a mini champ in there

Sandpaper can be used to field sharpen too, Grim workshop gives you a piece of sand paper with the signiture cards when bought from amazon i think and their site

O yea I forgot about them I bought the Zachary Fowler card after he was on alone I have it stashed in one of my kits

You need to start doing overnighters with just a pocket kit and a Leatherman. It would be a nice niche.

Missed this one but not a bad kit. I have the fire kit from Kieser I like it small and works very well plus room to add extras.

On the survival card, the two-holed bit that you thought is probably nothing actually struck me to be an awl piece. Maybe I’m wrong, but if it separates from the card, I bet you can improvise it as one anyways.

Your right that makes total sense! It has a sewing eye at the end of it. I figured it had to be something but I never took the time to check to see if I can find out what it was. Thanks for watching!

Back when I was building survival kits as a sideline I bought a gross of the square ones and s gross of the round ones. The round ones were larger but held a lot more fluid and had a bigger flame. They do hold fluid until the O ring dries out.

I have my own specialized kit I made it’s alittle bigger than these but without these kits I don’t have any content. People like to see what’s in these to see if they can add things onto their kit if they make one! Thanks for the view and comment

Did i miss a cutting tool other than the scissors?

No your right there’s no blade in there of any type. I would probably just snap the scissors in half and use each side as a knife if I needed to. they are very sharp. There was a saw on the fishing card and a wire saw but no real blade. The scissors would work for a wide variety of stuff. There’s room to toss a small multi tool in there for sure

@@whitetailsurvival2430 I make kits all the time. This one is destined for a family friend about to deploy. The sardine can is the same size as the normal ones but a bit deeper. Eliminate the fluff items and put in high quality gear.

@@dirtyscoundrel2013 that’s awesome that’s a great thing to send a kit out with someone being deployed. I know there used to be a military issued survival and medical kit that contained a leatherman squirt ps4 I would like to unpack one of them if I could find it
