i mean, for the first part, the cello is probably the best choice for the melody (no bias as a violist and violinist)

Yeah, I'm a pianist so I'm outside of this so I didn't even think that. I hear a low bass making the melody in the original song, so I give it to the cello. The metronome is loud and high pitched, so I give it to the violin.

Pretty sure it's the right key. Sounds the same to me and I double checked online.
