The story in my head as I listen to this: 0:00 I'm just sittin here, practicing some arpeggios... 0:13 Wait, I hear something buzzing near my ear. Hold on a sec. 0:14 KILL THE DAMN MOSQUITO 0:18 Swinging head around rapidly to try spot the mosquito, it keeps flying out of vision 0:27 Kill attempt number 1. Unsuccessful. 0:29 Now chasing it around the room. 0:31 Four failed attempts at catching the mosquito, it just flies away again. 0:36 *Chasing intensifies* I'M NOT GIVING UP UNTIL I KILL THIS THING 0:40 More failed attempts at capturing it. 0:49 It lands on you, and you slap yourself, missing the mosquito. 0:50 Resumed chasing with a higher intent of violence. 0:55 It disappears again. 0:58 Frantically looking around to try and spot it again. 1:03 Maybe it left? Oh well, time to go back to- 1:06 *lands on your forehead* 1:09 *slap* and miss again. Chasing resumes. 1:22 YES I GOT IT BACKED INTO THE CORNER, THERE IS NO ESCAPE NOW ANNOYING BASTARD 1:27 It escapes again. F*** 1:33 I WILL NOT REST UNTIL THERE IS ONLY ONE OF US LEFT!!!! 1:38 *Grabs sheet music to use as weapon and violently swinging it around* 1:43 Ha, I kill it! Wait no, it's still alive, SLAP IT AGAIN. 1:45 STAND STILL SO I CAN KILL YOU 1:47 FINALLY, I DID IT. I WON. YESSSS!!! 1:50 Now if you excuse me, I have to prac- 1:51 ANOTHER ONE???? SERIOUSLY??????? 2:02 This second one disappears. Looking around to try and find it. 2:06 It's back! Wait, or is that another one?? 2:07 No, that's the other one... 2:11 THERE'S MORE OF THEM OH GOD. 2:17 I WILL KILL ALL OF YOU, IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO. (frantic chasing ensues) 2:26 Now they're flying in different directions, wtf do I do???????? 2:34 *Slaps one out of the air* 2:37 *triple kill* 2:39 WAIT WHERE DID THESE ONES COME FROM?!???!? I don't know what you want, I don't care for what you want, you must die. (repeat of chase sequence) 3:06 *Rips sheet music in half to duel wield* BRACE. FOR. DEATH!!!!!!! 3:13 *slicing the mosquitos out of the air with immaculate precision.* 3:17 Was that all of them? Did I do it? 3:18 *The half dead ones still making noise* May as well give it an extra slap to make sure they're all actually dead. 3:28 Now, I can finally practice in- Wait what is that? 3:30 No way there's another one. No it can't be, I must be hearing things. 3:33 There's another isn't there... 3:34 YOU. LITTLE. 3:41 I WILL STAND YOU NO LONGER. YOU MUST DIE. *gets up from chair again* 3:43 EZ, absolute trash of an insect. Didn't even have to chase you for that long this time. 3:45 WHY WON'T YOU DIE?? *Three repeated hard smacks with sheet music* 3:48 *Gives one final smack* That's it, I'm not practicing anymore, screw them mosquitos.

This is amazing. Maybe the software doesn’t do it, but the “normal” playing for strings is typically called “arco”, just as a tip. Beautiful!

@@musicalman1811 as a professional (and educated (with a master's degree)) composer here, who also uses Musescore, I will give my opinion in both what a record studio would say, vs what I MYSELF actually think. Business opinion: very bland, unoriginal, engraving errors.... NOT enough engraving, and they'd kick you out before you could say "I love Santa Monica Bay" MY opinion: It's a fine little diddy if anything. Don't know what your relationship is with music, if it's a hobby or serious, but regardless, I would want to see fewer engraving errors like at the beginning with all those "6"s for the tuplets, just make one or two visible and put "sim" or really don't put anything there at all, bc trust me, we know what value they are as long as one or two tuplet numbers are visible. Also, the pedal line you used is in the wrong area, and not even the preferred pedal symbol at that. the melody and just the overall piece are very common...which is to say unoriginal, and I've heard this theme and kind of style SOOO much from other people on Musescore, it is almost laughable at this point. I'm really not trying to be rude really, but I can't find any "Oh this person is very unique" or "Wow this creator really hits me" kinda vibes with any of this. Using "Pizz" is fine, but "norm" ?! The violinist would laugh you off like a joke if you used that. just use "arco." like everyone does. a professional tip: use a laissez vibrer for measure 86 where that pizz starts, bc in technicality no one can really sustain a pizz. (I suppose unless it's a double bass or cello) to that long of a tie. so make measure 87 invisible and tie it into that invisible note. measure 108, you use the 6 tuplet number when it should say 3 or you could easily just use 6/8 time there instead. Measure 131 with the grace notes, they don't need accents, only the big note bc it implied that the grace notes get accented too. Lastly, ignoring other things I'm too lazy to point out, measure 299, it's not really referred to using a quindecesima clef for piano, as it's more for other instruments like say. the glockenspiel or other high-pitched instruments. that are already written octaves higher than written. just use a 15ma line. So overall if you just want to create with no seriousness behind the piece, I'd say it's great...except for that "norm" thing which I am still laughing at. especially bc you literally use arco later in the piece too.

This piece is meant to evoke comedy, laughter, and is not at all serious. Also, the accented grace notes are my fault. Using Musescore to add accents is easily applicable using as command and highlighting the area. Using triplets is just taking too much time, I'd rather use sextuplets because it's much easier and because I am lazy. Same thing with using 8va treble clef. I am too lazy to add 8va, I like it, I use it from time to time, and it just looks easier in my opinion.

Just have fun, if that’s your motive, ain’t notn wrong wi that. I’m just one of those (even though I’m only 22) “old” musicians who don’t get comedic jokes easily 😬😅☺️
