Wait, Milan such a small city? Ahahaha it's literally the biggest city in Italy. I live in a small town in South Italy (about 30 thousand inhabitants) and Milan is huge to me. Even more cities like Perth, Melbourne or Sydney. Nice video btw

There's this big international misconception about the Italian "breakfast" that foreigners find so unusual. Well: Italians do NOT have breakfast! In Italy there is the Colazione (more precisely "Prima Colazione"). That is of course something completely different.

I stumbled into your channel casually and i saw the 1st "cultural shock video" and this one ... What I have noticed is that living in Italy has given you a side effect: now when you talk you gesticulate a lot more than in your past vids ... you are really becoming a bit more Italian in that regard ... 🙂

Milano a small city??? 2 millions inhabitants, small???😳

Two things: Milan is one of the BIGGEST Italian cities, so it's very funny calling it a small city with no rush. All other smaller Italian cities are even in a much less rush :) When the waiter whines be theatrical! Exagerate! Answer something like "Era buonissimo! Come se lo avessi finito, ma davvero non mi ci sta più niente, era talmente buono che tra un po' esplodo!" Just cover them with compliments and gesticulate like a silent movie ;-)
