Me and my mom used to do this, we would get a bucket full of water and when we saw a huge crab go down a hole we would pour the water down the hole then dig till we saw it and quickly grab it. It was so much fun but I don't see me doing it again in the near future.

Used to do this a lot as a kid. When I got older I realized it's a pretty selfish thing to do unless you're gonna use them for something. Poor things have to retreat to the water, where they hopefully won't get eaten, then wait till dark to dig a new home for themselves. I hope this doesn't spawn a bunch of tourists to dig up all the crabs and mess with them for no reason other than their own curiosity and satisfaction, but it probably already has...
