This song seriously made me cry a bit, She's so sweet, and has such a beautiful voice. I started tonight watching pentatonix videos, then somehow found myself watching (insert country)'s got talent, and for like the last half hour I've been watching videos of this little girl sing. It's beautiful.

This brought tears to my eyes. God has blessed this child with a beautiful gift. I pray many are blessed with the beauty of God's love and creation. The world is a better place with Kaitlyn in it. I pray God uses her, to draw many hearts to know God.

Hi Everyone... we've had a number of questions around whether Kaitlyn's dad has passed away. First, he has not passed away and is alive and well. Second, the entire Maher family truly appreciates the kind messages received and thank you for your concern. Quick background on this song... Kaitlyn co-wrote this with her mom, for her dad, in preparation for Father's Day back in 2009. Needless to say, this remains his favorite song on her album! :-)

I remember this from yrs back, it was a real tear jerker. I know she wrote this, at least the lyrics, because no adult would write a song like that. And she always has this ernest innocent quality, she still does now that she is older, that cant be faked, because she means it, and lives it.

Her daddy is very blessed. What a wonderful gift her dad has giving her by loving her so much. She's as blessed as he is. If only we all could have been so blessed to have such a loving dad. I didn't have a very loving dad but I have a wonderful loving heavenly Father.

For nine years I have been looking for what to bring me close to my my late father, tonight this young girl brought me to uncontrollable tears because without my father I would never have been where I am today. I am 31 years old and my father passed away when I was 22years and now I can control this tears neither can I stop listening for I miss him so much. All the care,attention and love,I never felt it in the last 9years, just tonight I miss it all the most.

No matter what the critics say, She is only 5 years old and co-writing this beautiful song is amazing. Able to sincerely deliver the song with true feeling from her heart to her daddy is most heartfelt. Beside being cute & adorablely beautiful, she is the world youngest talented singer & song writer. gotta love the Internet .... just watched this little girl grow up from a 4 year old on a talent show... to a 5 yr old singing this ... There was a 6 yr old video... then her singing at her grandads funeral at 7... then an 8 and 9 year old video! By my calculations she should be 10 now... haven't seen a video for that yet BUT still looking hahaha! She is adorable... can't wait to hear her vocals as she gets older, I hope she's getting professional lessons :) ♡♡ From Australia xx

Tanya Sumner I hope her parents see this post. She is ten now and has less than two years to develop a strong foundation before Mother Nature kicks in and provides new challenges and gifts. :) Several of the young artist's who are turning fifteen and getting signed to major labels are learning the Bel Canto method of vocal training. It provides an amazing foundation and vocally the most beautiful tone throughout the registers. There is a masterful teacher in France who has students all over the globe. I can't tell you if he will take on Kaitlyn as a student or not, but your daughter loves singing, why not ask for the best in the world. If interested in an introduction please respond. In fact, I always loved him like that and I still do, even though he's gone to be with Jesus in Heaven. Aww I love this so much. A lot of moths before I was born. I was actually born September 8th, 2009. A few years after that I used to sing songs to my dad before I went to bed. I should’ve sang this song to my dad but I didn’t know this song since probably 2016 or 2017. Thanks so much for posting this!
