Synopsis:
Hyakkaoh Private Academy is a common elite school for the rich－except that it has a peculiar tradition: gambling skill is all it takes under the rigorous hierarchy and the student council oversees all gambling activities. A transfer student Yumeko Jabami, seemingly graceful but actually a “compulsive gambler” who finds pleasure in taking risks, gets entangled in the most intense gambling battles to win the position of student rep that whole school is vying for.

they just look like theyre all wearing cosplay edit: i meant they could have gotten someone who is actually blonde to play mary for example or at least not have them wear wigs. just seems visually artificial in my opinion.

This was pretty good, it is really hard to adapt an anime/manga into live action, though. One of the best parts of the anime is when she gets turned on by gambling and her eyes go full demonic to show how insane she really is and that's tough to depict outside of animation/drawing. Once the non-anime adapted Japanese movie industry's creativity level get's tapped into anywhere near the level of the anime/manga art scene's, the world is going to get some crazy shit! Keep it up Japan, hope to visit someday!

Vanessa Kapurubabdara I watched the movie in the theater. As of now, I haven't found a site to download this movie yet. Maybe because it was just released recently. But it has TV drama and it's better to watch the episodes first before the movie. I found the full episodes at kissasian.sh.

I absolutely loved the anime. And I must say, after being disappointed with many live animations this one was pretty fun to watch. Great acting, true to the story and an obviously huge budget.

I want to believe I'm not the only one who actually appreciates how this serie and movies were shot. I'm talking about camera angles, cast, scenography, photography, ilumination editing and acting skills. They were pretty good. All of the superficial things, like their color hair, were left behind by everything I mentioned before. It's a good adaptation.
