This video is the 4th episode of our Kolkata to Lahul valley tour of Himachal Pradesh. To reach Lahul valley one has to arrive at Chandigarh by train and from Chandigarh you have to reach Manali which is known as the gateway of Lahul valley tour. We reached Chandigarh from Kolkata by 12311 Howrah - Kalka Nejati Express in first class. From Chandigarh it took almost 7 hours to reach Manali. We stayed at Hotel Yak at Manali.
Next day we had a day trip of Lahaul valley from Manali. We visited Atal tunnel, Sissu village, Tandi, Keylong, Jispa and Darcha. We also spotted Himalayan ibex roaming very close to Leh Manali highway.
5 nights 6 days Lahul Valley Tour Plan
Day 1 - Chandigarh to Manali
Day 2 - Manali to Sishu village via Solang valley and Atal Tunnel
Day 3 - Sishu to Jispa
Day 4 - Jispa to Suraj Taal and Baralacha Pass and back to Keylong
Day 5 - Keylong sightseeing - Udaipur and Trilokinath Temple and back to Manali
Day 6 - Manali to Chandigarh
