He forgot to put the gas puck back. It's still sitting on the vice.

Note : The combination of your videos (this and the field strip) never addresses re-installing your gas regulator and puck. You might want to cover that, seems kind of important.

My KS12 has the css 6 position gas regulator. It ran cheap rounds no problem 25 drum mag super fun. But after my latest cleaning I can no longer get it to cycle target loads. No idea what I did. It would round the 25rd drug fast as my finger could pull with no failure now it never extracts the round. Suggestions

How is the KS12 California version any different than this gun? I field stripped my KS-12 and it has completely IDENTICAL parts to this gun including the gas puck, gas tube, bolt and carrier are all the same. I would have expected some type of gas plug to be in place of the gas puck, but after disassembling it, it looks identical to the Semi Auto versions... I haven't fired mine yet but HOW is this thing bolt action if it's build exactly the same as the semi auto version????

Ya, no kidding ha? I also went back to check and sure enough, gas puck still sitting on the vice. Never seen a Gun barrel being clamped down like that before.

You never said how far the gas setting H L plug goes back on!? How far do I screw I back on??

Gas pick will not come out

Once the regulator is out and of course the carrier, use a cleaning rod to tap it out. That is an area that gets dirty so once out, clean it well

@@KalashnikovUSATV saw the how to video and once I take regulator out the puck will not tap out with the rod it's stuck

@@305Blackout It's carbon build up because it's dirty. Don't be afraid to pull out a hammer. If you need, let a little solvent sit in it

The area forward of the puck will foul quickly. The puck is a close tolerance fit inside the tube, so any fouling will bind it when trying to remove it. I typically always need a dowel and mallet to tap it out. If it doesn’t drop in after cleaning, it’s still dirty. A brush with solvent is almost always needed to clean it out, especially after birdshot.
